Babic probably doesn't even know what the word genocide means - not the sharpest tool in the shed, let's face it. He knows the word is bad, and thought he'd use it against the DS to score points with his supreme, mystic ruler, Aleksandar Vucic. Party Apparatchiks like Babic grovel at their leader's feet, like hungry canines, hoping for a bone to be tossed their way. Quite nauseating, Serbian politics. If as much time was devoted to solving problems in Serbia's parliament, as is to criticising the opposition, maybe something would be achieved in Serbia. But then, I really don't want someone like Babic solving anything for me.

It should be condemned. It is an offensive statement to victims of warcrimes. He should have simply said that the DS harmed the interests of workers, or that the DS destroyed the working class. Instead this insult, will just cause more insults and politicians will concentrate on hurting each others feelings instead of dealing with the issues. They had a meeting over this? Why didn't they have a meeting to deal with the issue instead. Its okay to blame the previous government for their poor performance, but it is another thing entirely to make insulting people a full time job for a government that has absolutely no more time to lose

It's pretty obvious that the word "genocide" in this case is used as a metaphor. There is no need for such a extreme reaction, especially because unemployment rate was very high during the rule of Democratic party.

Babic in his speech used the word "genocide" in a metaphorical sense, trying to characterize the DS as the main culprit for the disastrous privatization of publicly owned enterprises. During the rule of DS most of these companies and privatized and lost their jobs more than 600,000 people. DS try with a new wave of insults aimed at the SNS to cover up the catastrophic situation that it left behind.
