Danilo/Doot said to Peggy, "You are such a loudmouth about something you actually don't know much about yet don't realize that this is the case."

Look who is judging who as a trash mouth.

You are a 40 some year old human being who couldn't make it in Vancouver so you relocated. Regardless of where you live you are miserable. Serbia is not the problem ... look in the mirror.

Balkan Anthro Boy,

Seems you forgot the line about the evil, unspeakable murders and torture carried out by the Serbs in the 90s. Not to mention the death camps run by the Serbs, not to mention the mass graves the Serbs are responsible for, not to mention the massacres - in Croatia and Bosna and Hercegovina. 'Serbs committed war crimes'...nice try. Now who's hiding??
Sorry, forgot about the Croatian flag burning 'people' in Belgrade in September.
BTW...to all the 'sensitive' folk out there, Cirilica has about as much place in Vukovar as a sign in Arabic does at the World Trade Centre. There's something for your sensitive minds to think about...

He has been infected with the human disease church, nationalism and the flag. What does one say to Josip Simunic and like minded people? Josip you are a narrow-minded man; you are half-educated man; you are an unintelligent man just like those who saluted you and with that same hand they will go home and beat their wife.

You are the very definition of a hobby Serb. Don't let that bother you too much, we all need our hobbies.

All hail to the wise and all knowing OZ.

You are the most ridiculous person here. You actually surpass Bam Bam and that's hard to do.

To have the audacity to tell someone who they are is the ultimate arrogance. Your blood is definitely not Serbian. We all have our traitors and those who are ashamed to be who they are and you are one of those, if indeed you have any Serbian blood running through your veins.

Only a fool would say such rubbish. Keep your beliefs but know that you are nothing and stand for nothing.
When you grow up you might understand this.

So, that's why you and bambam are ridiculous (two sides of the same coin). You are such a loudmouth about something you actually don't know much about yet don't realize that this is the case.

Really Danilo?

After all the mega bigotry and trolling spouted by BamBam in direct contravention of B92 posting rules and is still here? Peggy has strong views, but she is nowhere near as nasty. And you see yourself fit to pass judgement? Why should anyone take you seriously? Are you superior?

mario

So I really do not understand on what basis you rave hatred here against Croatians? Based on the Croatian minister in Belgrade that has seen burning Croatian flags, or banner signs written on them "Vukovar is Serbia" in Cyrillic, which probably Croatian minister has a hearing problem and did not hear'' kill Ustasha , kill Croats so Šiptar does not have a brother'' and then'' slogan "Vukovar is Serbiar'' and after that'' Chetniks'' then "Send us salads, there will be meat, there will be meat, we will slaughter Croats!" Interesting! Would you like I continue?

If it continues to offend Pupovac and his Orthodox cronies, then may it continue for generations. We are about 5 years from our ultimate goal and that is to move the Serbs across the Danube to Beograd. We hope the cancer can be eradicated. Jovan Raskovic will be rolling in his grave...!

Danilo

pre 10 godina

A hobby Serb/Croat, Peggy is someone like you, someone like BamBam, someone like Ari Gold..... You might have "Serbian" blood running through your veins (just like me), you might be really PROUD of your ethnic heritage (unlike me, I prefer to take pride in my accomplishments, not something as random as where you happened to be born) but you don't live in Serbia.

You've never lived as an adult in Serbia. You probably never will. This isn't a bad thing, however, you must recognize (or don't), that your opinions on something that you have little direct experience with aren't necessarily going to have any basis in reality.

So, that's why you and bambam are ridiculous (two sides of the same coin). You are such a loudmouth about something you actually don't know much about yet don't realize that this is the case.

You are the very definition of a hobby Serb. Don't let that bother you too much, we all need our hobbies.

Yeah, just like wearing swastika on your sleeve in a Jewish neighbourhood.
Swastika is a symbol of peace, according to ancient ways but you go and tell that to the Jews and make them understand that a German or a Croat is only wearing it for what it used to represent.
Do you think we are idiots?

Hobby Croat, hobby Serb, who the Hell are you to decide who someone is?
I can't be a hobby Serb when Serbian blood runs through my veins. That makes me a Serb. A Serb who has different opinions about things, especially different to your opinions but it doesn't give you the right to call anyone hobby this or hobby that.

It's obvious you think you are the smartest but do you know what that kind of thinking makes you?

Realist

pre 10 godina

I'm not sure what the Serbs are so upset about. Didn't FIFA recently fine the Serbian Football Association because Sebian fans racially abused a black player from England? Also, if I remember correctly, several years ago when Bosnia played against Serbia in Belgrade, didn't Serbian fans have banners all over the stadium saying "Noz, Zica, Srebrenica," and "Ratko Mladic je Heroj?" This type of behavior is as bad, if not worse, than the behavior displayed by the Simunic.

Dumb Dumb

pre 10 godina

Bam Bam, in another attempt at showing how a Nazi era salute is older and part of Croatia's heritage, you make more threats about the Ustasha coming back and targeting Serbs who don't get in line.

You're either a snot nosed little kid desperate for attention, or the biggest idiot on the internet. B92 should ban you permanently for your racist statements and praise of Jasenovac. You fascist scum got exactly what you deserved as Bleiburg, which explains why your family needs to hide in the US. Too bad UDBA didn't track down your grandparents.

Danilo

How can people say, "oh, it's just an innocent salute, predating Ustase", when this guy happily photographs himself a few days later in front of Pavelic's grave, as has been shown here in one of these comments.

Various versions of this greeting Croats used nearly 500 years. So I do not see where this greeting are linked to the WW2, WW2 variants is "For the Leader and home - we're are ready. This particular Šimunić version "Za dom - spremni!" variant dates back to the 19th century " Nikola Subic Zrinski in the struggle against the Turks, the version was Za dom spremni! ("For home(land) - ready!") There is no need for Šimunić to apologize, Šimunić did not do anything wrong. And whoever understood it wrong is their problem not Šimunić's.

Come on people....What is all the fuss about Za Dom Spremni goes back 500 years.. Like I keep saying to those Serbs in Croatia. Like it or not expect the Ustasa tradition to be passed on to the next generation. The Ustase will not die as Serbs are hoping for. You would think the Serbs would be used to this by now. Its time for the Serbs in Croatia to understand that Ustasa families are priority. The Hercegovnian diaspora lobby is extremly powerful and wealthy, no one can stop them. Expect the left to crumble in the next few years.

This is neither about Nazi’s nor WWII (just a friendly reminder: it finished in 1945), it is about moving the focus away from the current crisis and corrupt government. This is a diversion. Opinionated individuals with too much time on their hands (while being paid by Croatian budget) try to imply that “Za dom: Spremni!” is a Nazi chant hoping that the good old strategy of thousand times repeated lie becomes truth would work once and again. Well, as long as there are normal people, down to earth who are aware of the fact that Croatia’s entire political “elite” is excrement of the communist regime in better case or in the worse case UDBA’s spawns that have committed atrocities around the world under the red star and communist ideology there is a hope that the truth will remain clear.
What surprises me is the level of intellect of people who build their opinion based upon skewed opinions of marginal simpletons with power to post trash online for others to see. “Za dom : Spremni!” is an old Croatian chant used throughout history for the good of the homeland (which is almost the actual translation). Just like in any other rule there are exceptions to this one which resulted in usage of such chant by criminals...again, exception to the rule. Just like some criminals used the cross as a tool for mass hypnosis. Still, the cross is not illegal but who knows, one day it might be if we all start thinking the way diversionists would like us to.

There is no need for Šimunić to apologize, Šimunić did not do anything wrong. And whoever understood it wrong is their problem not Šimunić's.

He has been infected with the human disease church, nationalism and the flag. What does one say to Josip Simunic and like minded people? Josip you are a narrow-minded man; you are half-educated man; you are an unintelligent man just like those who saluted you and with that same hand they will go home and beat their wife.

Don't worry the one in Punchbowl that Mesic made his speech is closing it's doors soon.

Danilo/Doot said to Peggy, "You are such a loudmouth about something you actually don't know much about yet don't realize that this is the case."

Look who is judging who as a trash mouth.

You are a 40 some year old human being who couldn't make it in Vancouver so you relocated. Regardless of where you live you are miserable. Serbia is not the problem ... look in the mirror.
