Let's see what patiently supporting Serbia actually means when it comes to Kosovo.
(Peggy, 21 November 2013 23:04)

It means Serbia giving away to Russia its national assets for a fistful of Euros (for example, NIS) and, in exchange, Russia issuing statements of support any time Serbia asks for them.

The benefits certainly Serbia would not have with the inclination to one side. She needs to be aside, because she also needs support from Russia. And join in NATO can be qualified like betray.

@ Captain America......NATO might not have to bomb Serbia yet since it's inevitable imposion.

All non Serbs still illegaly occupied by Serbia will once and for all liberated.

Any serb resistance then NATO can surely do their thing.......

"Russia is ready to patiently and consistently support Serbia. But it is wrong to think that Russia will in some magical way solve this question on its own," Chepurin concluded.

It is nice that the Russians are happy for us, but the truth is that it is not in Serbia's interest to join a millitary orginization and then be forced to buy equipment and fight wars in asia/africa at the whim of the US president.

Many people across the Middleast feel that the entire purpose of NATO is to subvert the soverignty of small countries and kill muslims. We don't need any part of this. Serbia should build a peaceful future. We should be free to trade with everyone and not entangled in any alliance with any un relaible partners or alies.

It was not long ago that Serbia was an international pariah and considered an Agressor, and NO ONE came to our aid. Now that Serbia is rebuilding itself peacefuly by itself, why should Serbia join up and help NATO, who is bent on agression and will eventualy become an International Pariah once it's money runs dry.

I also think that Serbia doesn't want membership in NATO. Serbia is neutral country. For example, Austria, Cyprus, Finland,Sweden are in the Union, but are not a part of NATO - so obviously there is no requirement to join both of these organizations. We must try that political, social and economic reforms implied in the process of joining one organization have a positive impact on the accession to another. The most important is the rule of law and the fight against corruption and organized crime.

This is Great news! Now, if & when Serbia again try's to embark on campaines of aggression, NATOs newly aquired pilots will have a perfect place to earn ther bombing run credits! Nothing like the real thing!

Military neutrality is very important, especially for small states like Serbia. A great way to not approach any of the sides, because it is crucial good relations with the North and also with the West.
