Governor of the National Bank of Serbia must do everything to ensure the economic stability of the country. The economic stability of a country is reflected in the stability of the currency, I mean the dinar against the euro. Therefore, the NBS has to intervene at the macroeconomic level, to prevent possible inflation and depreciation of the dinar.

The governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) specified that there was more interest in "dinar-denominated securities, as of October". True, but madam governor failed to mention that the interest is mostly from the State of Serbia, they are buying their own government securities because of the higher rate of return on the Euros they purchase to hold down the dinar. One must always read between the lines, because you will only get the bright side from the government.
