The EU criticized the Serbian judiciary reform on several occasions, Kacin said.

"If you have only two initiated cases after the new organization was introduced, that implies that the prosecution is either incompetent, or governed by ideology or castrated. I do not where the problem lies exactly, but your prosecution simply does not exist," Kacin said.

Wow, Kacin is saying that the Serb prosecution is castrated. Rather strong words for an official that is supposed to be neutral. However, nothing new here, he is just verbalizing what others have been thinking all along. "Incompetent" is quite a strong description of the Serb prosecution, but "castrated" is downright insulting to the proud serbs. Well, I guess Kucin has to call it as he sees it. I doubt the Serbs will be asking for an apology as they are desperate to join the EU, despite Russian objections. Not a very auspicious start for a possible start of talks for membership to the EU.
