Military plane crashes in central Serbia

A military plane crashed around noon on Friday in the area between the villages of Mrčajevci and Slatina, near Čačak in central Serbia.

They simply deserve better equipment.
(marKo, 15 November 2013 15:43)Serbia is getting 6 Mig 33 aka Mig 29 that were supose to go to Syria. The problem is they have been sitting on the tarmac for a few years rusting. But don't worry Russia can refurbish them for 100's of millions. Extened their life cycle to 1/3 of the original nothing is to good for Serbia.

This old equipment needs to be retired even if it can't be replaced. It would do little good in a war, and as far as training, maybe they could lease a few Yak-130 from the Russians or sign up for Italian Aermacchi M-346.

I am glad no one is injured, this speaks to the proffesionalism and quick thinking of our pilots. They simply deserve better equipment.
