The things cannot happen overnight and that's true. But Serbia is doing everything that she need to do. Everyone can expect in the near future the changes.

Yes, so is their own Belgrade government.
Yes, they are afraid, with raison.
And yes, voting will place them under the albanian law.
Yes, Kosovo Serbs are exposed to non-stop albanian attacks, shootings, killings, pogrom, murders of Serbs for sale of their organs, open discrimination and Jingoism.
