Serbia marks WW1 Armistice Day

Lenard, the only reason Croatia exists as an independent country today is because of Serbia. If it weren't for Serbs, you wouldn't have the freedom to comment here today because you'd be too busy licking Austro-Hungarian boots, just like all your forefathers.

An occasion marked across the globe is once again defiled by ignorant comments.
Serbia did not start WWI. War was coming; Austria was keen on adding to its empire and saw the ‘peasant society’ of Serbia as easy pickings. Having already annexed Bosnia it was confident of brushing any Serbian protestation/resistance aside. The major powers had already positioned themselves, with Germany backing Austria. Romania, Bulgaria and Greece already had puppet heads of state influenced by Germany; the nails in Serbia’s coffin were almost complete.
Sarajevo only accelerated what was already coming. Austria got a bloody nose though and had to call on its more powerful ally to bail them out.
The rest, well we all know what happened and each year those that perished are remembered.
Including countless thousands of CROATIANS that managed to evade military duty with the Hapsburgs and fight alongside Serbs to remove the yoke of imperialism.
So by making comments as such you are also being disrespectful to your own forefathers
