"As you and many of your peers like to point out daily here Kosovo does not have much in the way of financial resources and a lot depends on foreign input. How would they possibly be able to buy half the countries in the world? "
(a New Day, 27 October 2013 20:08)

1. I never said Kosovo bought the recognitions, but Pacolli. You should know well how this gentleman and his company made his money: In more than dubious deals with Russia under Yelzin. Somehow ironic, isn't it?

2. This gentleman even proudly told in public that he is 'responsible' for some recognitions by African countries. Do you think this happened because of his pretty face? Ridiculous.

3. For his great work, this gentleman was even rewarded with becoming a minister in the Kosovo 'government' (well, okay, you can argue if this is a reward or not.

4. I never said half the countries in the world recognized Kosovo because of being bribed. This only goes for the latest dozen of recognitions. Of course most countries are not corrupt, and of course you cannot bribe France or Germany to recognize Kosovo, they had other reasons (which I don't understand, to be honest, what sense does it make to accept a state ruled by mafia clans in Europe?).

Maybe Kosovo should let Mr Gentleman Pacolli fly with a suitcase to Mr Ponta for a visit (for the suitcase, no return ticket is needed). This method worked well with corrupt African kingdoms, and having the level of corruption in Romania in mind, I think it could work in Romania, too.

It is amazing that people able to post comments on the internet could actually believe something like this. As you and many of your peers like to point out daily here Kosovo does not have much in the way of financial resources and a lot depends on foreign input. How would they possibly be able to buy half the countries in the world? And of what importance would a few countries that are poorer than Kosovo make? It is more likely that they would be influenced by the financial flow coming from Kosovo supporters than the few dollars that could possibly change hands from Kosovo.
And is it more logical that during his many trips abroad Jeremic was the one securing support through bribery for not only not recognizing Kosovo but also his position in the UNGA? After all it is no secret that Serbia was willing to part with anything Russia wanted at yard sale prices in exchange for their support on the UNSC.

By the time 2015 arrives it will become very evident that Mr Biden along with the Obama administration and the Democratic party will lose the election in 2016 . As a result any leverage from the US will be gone therefore no recognition

At least now are 4 countries left in EU that have not recognise Kosovo.Slovakia will be next in line to recognise Kosovo.
It looks like the embassy of Serbia in Romania will close in 2015 and romanian ambassador in Belgrade will kicked out.

Won't make such a difference. In the end, Spain, Greece and Cyprus will never recognise Kosovo (unless Serbia does). I don't know about Slovakia.
