To my father, son of an emigrant from St. Petersburg, "Russian", "Communist" and "Stalinist" always meant one and same thing. I never wanted to believe him, but after all, was he right, a spade being a spade?

How can a moral man “know lots of homosexuals” if he is not a pederast by himself ? It may happen that some of my acquaints are pederasts (same as gays or homos) but they feel shame to show it. But as soon as they start their propaganda they will take a big risk to change my neutrality. Then I shall stop to ignore them because in my country it is amoral. I respectfully disagree that they're trying to impose their will on the majority. You can't choose your sexuality and homosexuals (along with all educated people, I'm sure you are aware too) are aware of this, so they aren't trying to impose anything on anyone (apart from, I dunno, getting us to respect them and treat them like normal human beings, which is what they are) because it is scientifically impossible for them to do so. No one wakes up in the morning after a gay pride parade held in their city and thinks "Hey, I think this week I'll be gay and go out to 'another side of town' this Saturday night". That's not the point of the parade at all. Claiming that they're trying to "convert" us is like saying that when there's a parade held by supporters of a soccer team to celebrate their team winning a cup, for example, it's them trying to convert everyone in the city/country to support their team. All they're doing is expressing contentment with themselves, as a symbol against how long they've been persecuted on the basis of something as arbitrary and pointless as their sexuality.

You may not agree with them, but they may be your aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, mothers or fathers, and they are someones children and they will continue to exist in our societies whether we agree with them or not. A parade isn't acceptance of them taking our children, but openness of our society to evolve in our humanity. Montenegro is again a new country with old values in an ever changing world. They aspire to be "European" but I am way more concerned about immigration and Islamofascism that is allowed to flourish in the EU.

Let's not be that harsh and let's show some understanding for our Russian friends. Unfortunately, the Russian populace have never had the opportunity to be free and appreciate individual rights. After the Tsar regime, came the Bolsheviks and then Putin and what every Russian has been taught for generations now is too just accept what the majority (or those pretending to speak in the name of majority) decides even if that means being summarily executed, jailed or exiled to Siberia. The concept of free and independent thinking or individual rights is, at this point, alien to the Russian populace.
