Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo says his country strongly supports Serbia's European integration "because it believes that Serbia belongs in Europe."

My dear italian minister,
Serbia is already in Europe. It's not in Asia, Africa or anywhere else for that matter. You must be referring to the European Union. So typical. These EU hypocrites seem to think that only the EU member countries are somehow in Europe.

How about that! Serbia belongs in Europe? For the info. of the Italian, Serbia has been in Europe for ages. Perhaps, a first step would be to come to grips with the truth. The entity which attempted to boot Serbia out of Europe is NATO, of which Italy is a partner. And, of course, that relic (NATO)reinvented itself in 1999 so it could attack Serbia. We must remember that NATO was originally formed to defend North America. Then, to remain viable after the demise of the USSR, it reconfigured, and Serbia would be its first victim. Again, Serbia is and was in Europe all along.

Europe is a continent, not a economic/political union. So in that sense we already are in Europe...
