"Pride Parade signals faster accession talks"

Sweden's EU Affairs Minister Birgitta Ohlsson says holding the Belgrade Pride Parade "would be a strong signal that it was time for faster EU accession talks."

It just goes to show what a joke the EU Acession process has become when it becomes hostage to member states domestic polititcal agenda. In Sweden, jews are fleeing the country in droves. In the baltics, they already have anti gay laws on their books, Lithuania being the worst of them. This is the corrupt heart of the EU. Candidate countries have to match an EU standard that many member states still haven't achieved. The swedish government and others are simply the worst kind of hypocrites.
