This is not in defence of MikeC as I don't know that person

CONGRATULATIONS MAJLINDA KELMENDI!!! A very gifted Judoku, and worthy of her gold medal, it will not be the last time she wins at such a high level, I'm sure she is humble in being so triumphant, if only you were as humble as her.
21 females won a medal in the world Judo championship in Brasil. 7 gold medals were awarded with Majlinda winning Gold in the 52kg division and 6 others winning Gold in their respective weight divisions. All 7 of these women are world champions likewise there are 7 male world champions also, great achievement and something to be proud of. "The truth" you fail to mention the other k albanian female who did not win a medal but trained and sacrificed equally as much as her training partner, good friend and fellow countryman. Do you not know her name or do you only ride the success of "your" winners and care less for the ones that lost, very typical of you and the likes of you.

Damn this 1500 character rule!
....continuing from my last comment...furthermore as for someone whom sport plays a major part of life I can appreciate sporting achievements and understand the commitment and sacrifice that is part of that lifestyle, congratulations to whoever wins the basketball, whether it's Croatia Lithuania or Albania, whoever wins, it will be because of hardwork, training and natural ability not because of a superior ethnicity or which nationality committed less war crimes in the Balkans 20 years ago or who fought the Turks 500 years ago. I personally will not be chearing for Croatia because 1. I'm not Croatian 2. I don't care for Basketball and 3. I don't live in Europe. Serbs and Croats have a closer bond and good friendships in the international tennis scene, Djokovic world no.1 practices with and give pointers in a mentor role to Bernard Tomic, a low ranked Croatian Australian ( maybe a future no.1), they are infact good friends. Mirko CroCop MMA and UFC legend, one of my all time favourite sportsmen (and not because his father was a Serb), I have always cheered for him, checkered shorts and all, who cares, I'm not cheering his flag but him as an athlete. These people don't share the logic of most of B92's regulars, they are professionals and would not achieve what they have if they were glued to their computers. Don't take credit for their success it has nothing to do with you and I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it.

Croatia, Spain, France and Lithuania reach semifinal stage in European basketball championships go Croatia. All you ex Yugo's can cheer for Croatia.
(Lenard, 20 September 2013 11:48)

I am cheering already, but am still waiting for MikeC to do the same. Can't believe for a person supposedly "highly educated', not to have read about world champ in Rio,Brasil. He owes me an answer on that one. No guts no glory. hurraaaaaaaaaaa Croatia. Way to Goooooooooo champs.
@lENARD, you are always on the money on your comments.

What loser soar heads Serbs are so characteristically very pathetic that no one wants to to do much with them. When in Euro Vision Serbia needed the votes of ex Yugo country's to win in 2007 Serbia "Molitva" (Молитва) Marija Šerifović we supported Serbia and gave them. No wonder Serbs/Serbia get nowhere with their proverbial attitudes like that.
