There is a huge difference between making up excuses and sarcasm.

------------

You just provided a link that shows nothing what so ever, no nationalities mentioned and no crimes mentioned. Do you watch what u post before u post it?
(Daniel, 23 September 2013 14:06)

There are thousands and thousands of trials on there, just select a region of your choosing on the site. Then it isn't hard to find a criminal trial where the offender has an Albanian sounding name and the victim has a Serbian sounding name.

I provided the EULEX website for people to check out, thats the home page for judgements.

Ian, mate,

I am surprised that so much can get lost in translation here. After all YOU are on a SERBIAN news site, but you missed this language (albeit) subtlety.

I am surprised because most Serbs (perfectly good explanation why it's just them) learn english through only fools and horses and Monty Python.

I can explain the sarcasm bit, but it's better labeled as irony.

There have been numerous, bloody crimes that happened over the past ten years under EULEX, whenever the victim is Serb, the perpetrators are not found, the crime is dismissed as an incident and written off as children's game that went wrong. Apparently, there arent many toys there but there are a lot of guns.

I would suggest that you find Donal Macintyre reports, two particular episodes, one about human trafficking in the UK, and the other about illegal weapons in the Balkans.

You should perhaps take a look at the EULEX website, there you can see a huge list of Albanians on trial for crimes against Serbs. But for some reason they barely ever make the news on B92 and other Serbian sites therefore according to people like you these trials never happen.

@ Ian UK: I do not know how much time you have actually spent in the Balkans but the sentence about kids playing is typical regional sarcasm, that any friend and family member i have there could use, and it would not be considered offensive (because people are thankfully still immune to the wave of political correctness that has engulfed the west recently)... As pointed by someone else below, the reference is to the countless KPS reports blaming countless crimes against Serbs on 'kids playing'.

On the substance, a death is always a tragedy and a murder a criminal tragedy, that should be seriously investigated... But i can understand why people feel angry that the murder of a westerner is seen as a national tragedy while the daily murders and abuses of many of their compatriots are just brushed away as collateral damage or pay-back for not being on NATO's side in the 90ies or what-not. Hence, the sarcasm - i would believe...

On the facts, the bridge in Zvecan were the shootings took place can be accessed by members of both communities (there are neightbouring villages of both communities). However, it is really not in the interest of Serbs, including Serbs living in Severno Kosovo, to get into trouble with EULEX at the moment; by opposition, Thaci and co. have asked for EULEX to leave and let KPS take over, so they might have an interest in terrorising them out of the place. Besides, i know from internationals who worked for several years (in rule of law, law enforcement, security, etc. functions) in the area of Mitrovica that the bridge in question has been the site of several KLA bombings in the past few years.

Even though it does not allow us to predict the ethnicity of the culprit(s), it does allow us to form some suspicions... The other plausible alternative i personally can think of (other than KLA) is organised crime; which could be by Serbs, Albanians, or even a mix of both. with all due respect, of course!

You are reading way too much into my response to Ian.
I was not talking about myself but rather about him for whenever a Serb is killed or Serbian cemetery destroyed Ian never hopes the Albanian responsible will be caught.
Where did you get all that insight into me just by pointing out something so obvious about Ian?
You Nostradamus you.
(Peggy, 20 September 2013 12:03)

As you can see, I didn't write that comment. Someone called Poll did but for some reason you responded as if I wrote it. Very strange!

"whenever a Serb is killed or Serbian cemetery destroyed Ian never hopes the Albanian responsible will be caught."

WRONG!

Look at this article titled "Two Serb returnees murdered in Kosovo" from 7th July 2012.

Check out my comment.

But according to you Peggy love, I NEVER hope those responsible will be caught. You're wrong again Peggy love!

Guess what, I am neither Albanian nor Serb. When an Albanian murders an Albanian, that is a tragedy. When a Serb murders an Albanian, that is a tragedy. When a Serb murders a Serb, that is a tragedy. When an Albanian murders a Serb, that is a tragedy. When an Albanian or a Serb or a Tanzanian or Madagascan murders a Lithuanian, that is a tragedy. See where I am going with this. And in each case, it does not reflect on the entire people. So simple when you try. And I love both sides calling each other trolls. We are ALL trolls here.

"Bekim", Serbs did not benefit from the whole war. However, this did not stop them to start it and just like here it way overdue to shut that whole North project down, just like the Kraina project.

Sorry, I'm confused here. I can take sarcasm but I have to first be subject to sarcasm to be able to take it.

I've not been subject to any sarcasm here, there hasn't been any sarcasm aimed at me. I don't know what sarcasm has to do with any of this and I really do not know why you brought up sarcasm. It is not in the slightest way related to any of this. It was a rather random and unrelated thing for you to bring up, hence why I'm rather confused.

Yesterday Morning an official of EULEX was killed. He was 36years old, with one child.
Rather than condemning this action, the usual bunch of voyeurs descends into another bout of vile diatribe.
Whatever your ethnicity, regardless of your location (Homeland, Diaspora, permanent orbit around UrANUS (most of you) etc) can you not see the continual harm/damage that you create?
Generations of sitting on your granddaddies knee listening to all the wrongs bestowed on our people by whomever as created a disturbed populance.
If you were all part of some non developed backwater you would be expected to fend for yourselves, the developed world having washed their hands of you.
However, your part of Europe and people (other than yourselves) actually care. Though I doubt whether a lot of the policy/decision makers have actually been to the Balkans (If they had and met folk like those that contribute here...........)
Get a grip folks! If not for yourselves than think of your children and grandchildren
RIP Audrius Šenavičius, and to the three UNMIK officers killed, we will remember them

Peggy, your comment says so much about you. None if it that good. In response for the comment hoping for the perpetrator to be caught, you say 'be careful what you wish for, they may be one of your brethren'. Suggestion being that everyone on this site is like you - if it is a murderer but of the same nationality as you (whatever it is), then it is your hope that the person gets away with it. I am sure the family of the victim would understand.

Hey, you probably don't understand Kosovo wordings. Let me explain: In southern Kosovo, when buses and cars are stoned, graveyards and houses owned by Serbs are vandalized, when Churches are desecrated, KPS usually claims these things have been done by 'playing kids'. So that's where these famous words come from.

Joking aside, this is serious. I sincerely hope EULEX is more successful with finding the perpetrator than usual. I guess they work a bit harder when crimes are committed against their own members than what they do when crimes are committed against Serbs in the Southern enclaves.

I provided the EULEX website for people to check out, thats the home page for judgements.

"I hope they catch the perpetrators, lock them up and throw away the key!

But according to you Peggy love, I NEVER hope those responsible will be caught. You're wrong again Peggy love!
