Thanks, George W Bush, for making legitimate military intervention so hard for Americans to support at the present time. Obama should never have sought public support. A swift, debilitating strike would have been best. But again, thanks to Bush, we have a war-weary public that apparently made Obama think twice about moving ahead without Congressional backing. What bothers me more is the complete lack of morality once again on display from Russia and China. Their governments always seem to defend the most despicable regimes...those of Sudan, N Korea, Iran, Myanmar...disgusting.

Released belgian hostage from Syria says he heard a three way skype call in broken english by rebels that claimed they had gassed Ghouta. How far will the established media go to rubbish and then sink this, if it is ever widely reported.

Only God knows who gained more of such a development. Was it Barack or Bashar. Both are Arab names and both had encornered themselves. In any case we have a sudden hope the madness can be stopped. By the way I was surprised of how indifferent Serbia has remained all the time. Once being in the same position as Syria it kept silent as if nothing but the intergration had a meaning. Once demonized and attacked the same way Serbia remains silent in a stand by regime. Good bye Toma ! What was the sence to replace Boris ? What is different now ? Also Cyprus and Greece amazed me. How deep they do depend on the western money ! And what a blood thursty puppet dog Hollande proved to be. Even Sarkozy kissed the big a** not that sweet ... He is ready to fight the same people in Mali and help them in the nearby ... So Syria has opened the time to surprice or the moment of true as they say.

Sergey Lavrov is the master of diplomacy. With one stroke he forced team Obama to accept a deal without losing face and maybe saving his presidency.

It seems John Kerry will be the big loser as he will have to do without the 30 pieces of silver he was about to receive from the Saudis for the US attack on Syria.

So the Russians had to save Obama’s backside by proposing this latest solution to the crises. Obama painted himself into a corner and could not get out as there was no guarantee that Congress would agree attacking Syria and more importantly the vast majority of Americans were against it anyway. To top it off the US could only muster 10 countries to support it.
I wonder will the famous Nobel Committee ask for the Peace Prize to be returned considering how Obama has behaved so far? That’s way the Nobel Prize has fallen in prestige
