Montenegro and Slovenia ?! Let's say nothing... It appears though that Serbia does even less than nothing :) That surprises you? Or your brilliant economic analysis as CE of B92 forums shows otherwise...

Oh the Albanian genius is back with another whity comment. Notice how he tears apart my comment with his PS CE= Chief Economist. On the way to the market don’t trade your cow for magic beans boy.

thanks... but we are still impatiently waiting to know what the analysis says since only the CE of B92 forums can be trusted on financial and economic matters.

“Serbia is at the tail of the group comprising Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.”

It says it all. Serbia is at the end of all of these superior nations eh? If it competitiveness we are talking about then pray tell me what does Montenegro produce to compete with? Or perhaps Slovenia???

"I'm fed up with those global indexes which always have Serbia in the wrong place."

"I would not lose sleep over this rubbish"

Well, that's one way to deal with it!

As a national of a country in the top 10, I have a different perspective. Until we are number 1, we still have room for improvement, and such indices are useful in showing where to focus our efforts.

BTW,seriously though, thanks for the advice. I too am fed up with those global indices which show Nole as number 1. The way to improve tennis in my country is to ignore the indices, not build more tennis courts, encourage kids to play at school etc

I’d take this crap with a sack not a pinch of salt. Look at Macedonia, a country that exports a few food stuffs and they are superior to Serbia.
Its the same old propaganda; unless you are in the EU or pissing in its pocket then you can never achieve greatness.
I would not lose sleep over this rubbish as its same group that used to say that China would never amount to anything without freedom and democracy.

Viewed in terms of total competitiveness measured by GCI in 2013, Serbia is at the tail of the group comprising Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Albania, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro? Are you kidding me? This report must be biased or unreliable! How on earth is Albania and Bosnia more competitive than Serbia? Do they even have any products to compete with? I'm fed up with those global indexes which always have Serbia in the wrong place.

Sad Serbia was developing so rapidly until the financial crisis hit Europe in 2009. Before that year Serbia used to be described as the "Balkan Tiger" with one of the highest growth rates in the world. Such a pity.

This is nonsense! We Serbs are the best of the best, the leaders of the pack, the elite of the Balkans, the home of the free and ... (you get the point).
