There is a resolution in place which means that until that is replaced with another resolution UNMIK is in charge and cannot just wash their hands off it. What Albanians fail to realize is that by just proclaiming independence is not a guarantee of it. It has to be settled in the UN and a new resolution reached, otherwise what is the point of ever making any agreements at all if one side can just say they no longer want to honour it?
UNMIK is there to stay in however small numbers. Even if only one left it still represents an agreement which cannot be changed without another agreement being reached first.

Kosovo is recognised from most country in Europe and world. I am sure Mr Vulin knows about this. Now is time to start new era for Kosovo and Serbia and time that UNMK go away. Mr Vulin should know that nothing can be forever and now is time for change. It will be now or later I am sure as it is natural process and nobody can stop it.

Ofcourse that is unacceptable! What should Serbs expect after Serbian army was pushed form KiM and what will be with Serbs down there if UNMIK leave that positon? Exodus for shure, and thats what they are expect to be.

UNMIK is aware how powerless they are and that's the reason they do so little. Yes, technically they have an authority in Kosovo but most Euopean countries and Albanian don't care to hear what UNMIK has to say. If EU respected UNMIK, we would not have had EULEX.

@MIB
In Case you re not aware, those troops belong to NATO and not UN.
