Why anyone would assassinate a political opponent like Draskovic is a mystery.
HIs kind of idiocy is truly rare and special, even in Serbian politics.
As a political opponent he would have been an asset worth protecting with every available means.
This is the man who while in opposition to Milosevic managed to splinter and tangle that opposition time and time again, keeping it out of power for over a decade and making some foreign puppet masters very frustrated.
It's not surprising then that the attempted method of his assassination should be identical to the one considered by British intelligence for assassinating Milosevic, and at a time when the head of Serbian intelligence happened to be working for the CIA, the very organisation that Draskovic now seems to think should be called in to re-organise the Serbian intelligence department . . .
