I Just Dont Get It...

In the USA- you are supposed to be innocent, til proven guilty. How do we know what 'Snowden told, gave or (sold) to the Russians?

'But in reality- here, in the USA, you are guilty til proven innocent & I think 'Obama is out-side of reality, threatening Russia with the Olympic games? Does Obama think the 'Russians would miss us...?...:(

Either way I guess its a bad time to go visit my kin-folks in Moscow. ...'Perhaps by next year, all of this crap will have worked itself out. Does Obama think that "Snowden is the only human with something to sell to 'Russia...:)? The USA has CIA Operatives in 'Russia right now & the sad part is; 'The RSS already knows where they are all staying.

There's no such thing as "permanent protection" in such cases. The US just this year or the last returned a guy who's been on the run in North Africa since the 1960's. This guy's name will stay on a list, and he'll either die of old age or be brought back someday. Too bad he didn't get to take advantage of his Chinese studies and has to start over with Russian, but as an Indoeuropean language, it'll probably go faster than the Chinese did.

End the uncertainty and just give the guy permanent asylum.

Because it's in Russia's interest to keep the guy on edge.

What is going to change in a year? The US will still want to throw him in jail for the rest of his life or worse.
The US will never give up on him, that's a given so just give him permanent protection.
