OSCE warns about free speech in Turkey

The prison sentence meted out to journalist Ahmet Altan for insulting Prime Minister Erdogan in one of his articles will further restrict free speech in Turkey.

This is islamic democracy.If you dont agree with imam erdogan or criticise his government you just disappear in a turkish gulag.

Now you not only go to prison for 'insulting turkdom', but for insulting Mullah Erdogan, too? And this country wants to join the EU? It is light years away from any European standards and values.
