Pete K,

Ian,UK is an occasional contributor(Ian James Anderson)to wacko (his word) Roberto Russo Russ Frisco (or whomever he is on any given day) and Willi's blog called Kosovo-net. You can also find Ian, UK on facebook and he has as his friends, wacko Roberto Russo Russ Frisco and Willi. Pretty obvious from his writings on B92.

The website is substandard at best, their purpose is to demonize all Serbs and to spread hate. Rather pathetic that this is the major vehicle Roberto Russo Russ Frisco etc, etc, uses to "feel" like a journalist. Their use of photo shop to create really childish images is so unprofessional and immature ... it is obvious they are not true professionals.

Ian,UK is just another young kid from a small village in the United Kingdom who uses the internet- like Roberto Russo Russ Frisco and Willi- to feel important.

I've already demonstrated on this forum that I live in Belgrade. If you're curious, search the comments of one of the 2-3 posts about Croatians protesting the Croatian government about cyrillic.

At any rate. I'm not sure why this has to be explained to anyone, but "you Croat!" isn't a response to anything I've said. Well, it is, I guess. It's the response of someone in the west living in some weird imaginary balkans house-of-mirrors of their own creation.

I think my response to your argument has been plain and clear enough, but then again you're a person who claims not to have ever seen nor heard of Croats today performing Nazi salutes.
It appears that you choose to be either deaf, dumb, or blind, depending on what's most useful to your agenda.

Funny that you dismiss the relevance of your ethnicity yet at the same time denigrate the opinions of what you refer to as "disconnected" diaspora Serbs simply because they no longer live in the former Yugoslavia.
On an English speaking forum.
Many became part of that very diaspora because of ethnic cleansing at the hands of your Croat relatives and your Albanian friends.
And you doubt that many have even met an Albanian?
No doubt it would be even more convenient for you if they were completely silenced as well.

It's obvious that you don't live in in the former Yugoslavia either.

Don't you think your opinions would be more relevant and more valued elsewhere on some Croatian forum?

It's definitely weird how disconnected the hobby-Serbs are from the real Serbia. And also weird how little they actually know about it. They just make stuff up. The parties in power campaigned on a pro-EU platform and now they're shocked that they are perusing EU membership. They say stuff like "referendum NOW", clearly ignorant to the fact that a referendum is a necessary part of the process. They think DSS will be next in power, somehow oblivious to the fact that their support halves each election.

This is why I say that, unfortunately, their free-floating hatred which has been focused on Albanians (none of them having probably ever met a real-life Albanian in their lives), will now be focused on Serbs who fail to conform to their notion, from Australia, of what a "real Serb" should think like.

(Peggy, 19 July 2013 00:47)

Before Serbia can join the EU, constitutionally there has to be a referendum on EU membership. Just like Croatia had a referendum on EU membership.

The Government isn't affraid of holding a referendum because the majority of real Serbs support the EU unlike you plastic hobby Serbs on the other side of the world. This is why Serbia keeps voting pro-EU parties into power in Serbia. Anti-EU parties like the DSS and the SRS don't have the support of the people here in Serbia.

Remember that Ireland held referendums until the population did as directed and voted in favour.
Their economy has been doing fabulously ever since, hasn't it?

Do you even know what Communism is? Well obviously you don't because if you did, you would know that Serbia never experienced Communism, Serbia experienced Titoism which was a watered down semi-capitalist version of attempted Socialism.

I like the way you used the term "our people". Aren't you American or Australian or something and that your great great granddad's best friend's cousin once had a dog from Serbia or something? LOL

53% eh? What a load of horse manure. Give me the resources and I can get a 60% of Israelis to say they think Hitler was a good guy.

What does it matter. He never claims to have a biological connection and he's definitely more knowledgeable about Serbia than Ari, Peggy and the rest of the hobby Serbs who claim to know so much about Serbia.

WE{I} know you are a Serb hater.

How do you know this?

I've already demonstrated on this forum that I live in Belgrade. If you're curious, search the comments of one of the 2-3 posts about Croatians protesting the Croatian government about cyrillic.

At any rate. I'm not sure why this has to be explained to anyone, but "you Croat!" isn't a response to anything I've said. Well, it is, I guess. It's the response of someone in the west living in some weird imaginary balkans house-of-mirrors of their own creation.

Yes. They can vote in elections. Where do you think DSS gets 1/2 their votes from?
(Danilo, 19 July 2013 12:40)

Haha. Seriously, are there statistics that confirm those numbers? This would explain a lot.

What resources? just do what you usually do make the claim and when someone ask you for verifying sources start out on the US debt and problems etc, etc, and abandon the real subject.
