That leaves only china, they will most likely vote against it but majority rules

Why do you think China would vote against Kosovo? You can count on one hand or two how many times China has used it's veto since the start of the UN. China almost never uses her veto. What makes you think China will all of a sudden start because of Kosovo? China abstains a lot, vetoes almost never.

"Btw, there is not such a thing called "recognized UN member"... not sure what that term means. "
(icj1, 18 July 2013 05:30)

Sorry, my fault. I meant UN member state, or recognized state, in contrast to the so called 'disputed territories' or 'states with limited recognitions', where Kosovo is one of them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_with_limited_recognition#Non-UN_member_states_recognised_by_at_least_one_UN_member

P.S: I just saw that there is even a handful of UN members states which are only partially recognized

"As for nobody wants an independent Kosova, not true, he US wants it as do most of the EU, it's why their recognize it as a state."
(Nikolle, 17 July 2013 10:00)

To be more exact: They wanted an independent, multi-ethnic state with rule of law and European standards.
Unfortunately, the result was only a mafia state which became Europe's main drug hub under the Thaci regime, where elections are faked by corrupt politicians elected by 115% of the voters, with mafia clans and ethnic discrimination not only by the majority population, but even by the police and state organs.

Exactly. It's the permanent UNSC members Russia and China that won't allow a unilaterally self-proclaimed country created by an ethnic minority on the soil of a sovereign country to become a recognized UN member.
(Comm. Parrisson, 17 July 2013 14:59)

It depends... they will or won't allow depending on their interests. Only naive people believe that China, France, Russia, UK or US act based on principles when voting in the UNSC; there are no principles in international relations - just interests. And they have already shown they they can do the opposite of what you say... sorry, dear, to break you the news.

Btw, there is not such a thing called "recognized UN member"... not sure what that term means. There are countries recognized by other countries and there are countries that are UN members. But there does not exist any country in this world recognized by the UN for the simple reason that UN can't recognize countries. But you are welcome to start a campaign to change the UN charter to enable the UN to recognize countries - good luck with that :)

Regarding the un. Serbia cannot block or ask anyone to block kosovos euro prospective which usually involves being in un before eu. Russia already said that they cannot be more Serb than Serbia itself. Serbia cannot legally block Kosovo from un without kissing their eu dreams good bye. That means if russia keeps it word they to will either allow or abstain from voting against Kosovo. That leaves only china, they will most likely vote against it but majority rules. Spain will not vote against it even with their separatist movements because they need their eu brethren to keep them afloat.

Serbia might be tough and climb the highest mountain to beat their chest and proclaim their man hood but in the court of law they can never beat Kosovo. Lol remember the court they asked to rule on the legality of kosovos declaration. Seems like the only ones surprised were the Serb politicians them selves.

If their record in the 90's is anything to go by Paul, Serbs are even more unfit to govern Kosova. Under their watch, it disintegrated into war. As for nobody wants an independent Kosova, not true, he US wants it as do most of the EU, it's why their recognize it as a state.

Being called uncivilised by an Albo is much like having Hannibal lector teaching vegetarianism. Here we have a people that in the 21 century still have revenge killings that were started 20 or 30 years ago and trying to sell themselves off as superior Illyrians.

Now remebr Rocky you have to wait until spring for the dopnkeys to give birth before attacking the Serbs – What an idiot.

Fancy a lesson in history?Try the roman historian Tacitus. He tells how emperor Nero sent mercenaries from germany, britain and Illyria to the Caspian passes to fight the Albanians. You guys have absolutely nothing to do with the balkans. No wonder all toponyms have Serbian names.Shqiptars were brought in the balkansby the turks.

It is hard to see exactly what the government in Belgrade is doing. But to all appearances for those who do not speak Serbian, the government is playing a very tight diplomatic hand. Even so, we need to hear protesters like this to make sure that everyone toes the line on Kosovo. Kosovo is Serbia. Albanians are unfit to govern Kosovo and nobody really wants an independent state in Kosovo.

Brian

This election is all about Serbs personally deciding whether or not to recognize Kosovo independence. Voting in these elections organize not by Belgrade but pristina means that person supports Kosovo independence from Serbia.

Serbs should stay clear of any western and albo machinations to legitimatise the theft of kosovo. The eu's days are counted and then the albanians will lose the hand which keeps them alive. Then we bounce back and take what has always been ours.

Gotsfrie,
You'll need to go back to the urals for that, no one can deny you, your true ancestral roots! However, if you are illicitly implying or discreetly referring, to coming to try and reoccupy Kosova, well, we Kosova's original Albanian inhabitants will be waiting for you, arms wide open! We still have much to finish!! Am praying to see part 2
