this little village is right at the border, and I really wonder if the serb explaination is correct, or if it will turn out like a few times before, that illigal Serb MUP Gandamerie actually caused this incident. MUP and any serb military units are not allowed in this buffer area, and violate the Komonovo agreement which ended the Kosovo war. Besides that, why doesn't Serbia finally agree to mark the border, than these kind of incedents could be avoided. There is no clear border marking in that area, and that seems to be the main reason this happens so often, or is it that Serbia wants these kind of things to happen, even provokes them?

Willi asked why Albanians can't just cut their own trees. Granted trees are nearly extinct in Albanian controlled parts of Kosovo, but maybe this was more than simple tree cutting considering they came with AK-47s. But of course this slips his mind. So does crossing into another "country". No, it's all Serbia's fault because they either staged this, or overpowered a bunch of poor, desperate Albanian freedom fighters trying to get wood to sell to feed their starving families.

Simple stupid Albanian criminals who got more than they bargained for. That's all there is to it. I'm sure this will piss off the Albanian cyber diaspora royally (as we can already see), but hey, sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do to keep these people in check. No one wants the chaos that is "Kosova" spilling into the rest of Serbia, and let's be perfectly honest: if it were Serbs stealing Albanian wood who got wounded by ROSA, the same people who either posted or are planning to post the biggest baddest patriotic comment they're brains can produce to soothe their aching egos for a land they've never been to, would be all cheering the bravery and professionalism of law enforcement against Serbian criminals and whatnot.

It is well know fact that Albanians don't know anything else but to thieve from others, they cannot help themselves as it is drilled into them from birth as it was for their parents and grandparents and so on.

I'm sure you'd like to try tough guy. But a third of Albania belongs to Serbia. Another third belongs to Greece. Try to act tough again, and the Balkans will kick you all back to the remaining third scrape out whatever meager living you can manage.

Ahh the Hague Tribunal – that bastion of justice or should I say the laughing stock of the legal world. Where if you belong to the wrong ethnic group its prison but all others get a free pass.

Yeah they have it all on record and it’s kept on toilet paper for the next generation to use for precedents.

Go to any prison in the world and ask a criminal his opinion of court system and you will get the same response you gave. I think Jeremic got the world response for you on the Hague and it definitely was not that of a laughing stock.

If this incident as described it's true, there should be no sympathy for those thieves. If they were armed, and (as Comm. Parrisson without any evidence assumed) if they were part of organized crime they should be punished very harshly.
