It's true that the headline doesn't reflect the news continent in best way. But this matter put aside, the decision by German parliament is a long step forward for Serbia.

Most important for Serbia is to remember the goal: advancing well-being of citizenry thru improving economics, legal system, equality, educational and health issues and fighting corruption. Accession talks, any kind of treaties with other countries and the EU membership are only tools to work with in bettering the well-being of people. Alone, without everyday efforts by members of society, these tools achieve nothing. Hammers and saws don't build houses, people do.

So, now is no reason to cry over the demands announced by the German parliament. It's only good that Serbian citizenry has time to think about existing issues. And foreign investors can observe a stabilizing, reasonable country of reasonable people.

In a very recent article in the biggest and most influential Finnish newspaper Serbia was named as the motor of the Western Balkans economics. That's a huge step forward from days of only negative views on Serbia.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Thursday that the first conference on Serbia's EU accession may take place in January only after a confirmation in December on progress in the implementation of the Brussels agreement between Belgrade and Priština.

That's all fine and dandy, but let's hear what yiayia has to say.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFSKqkDiSJY

"More accurate would be:German parliament demands essential recognition of Kosovo as pre-condition to Accession Talks. "
(Smoke 'n' Mirrors, 27 June 2013 16:50)

And even more accurate: 'Germany expects implementation of all the things which were agreed in the Brussels agreement between Belgrade and Pristina before accession talks will start.'

German parliament gives Serbia "green light"

A misleading headline, not accurately supported by the contents. More accurate would be;

German parliament demands essential recognition of Kosovo as pre-condition to Accession Talks.

Where has all the journalism gone? Is it all just advertorials or reprinting PR and news releases verbatim?

So Serbia is getting a conditional date. Not bad I think because a conditional date is just like an unconditional one unless Serbia does not implement the agreement. Simple.

We all know unless Serbia implements all agreements reached by PM's of Kosova and Serbia nothing can go any further. Europe has already figured out Serbia is trying to play dumb, but not this time lol they're watching Serbia very closely than usual. Great Job Germany... Keep Serbia in check lol.

According to Tanjug, "other requests" refer to a detailed insight into all Serb payments to the institutions in Kosovo, organization of free and fair local elections in Kosovo and full implementation of all previous results of the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština..."

Demanding free and fair elections in Kosovo? And on the other side, they are not afraid of shaking hands with the certified election faker Mr. 'voted by 115%' Thaci? Beyond ridiculous!
