Having said that, I would like to thank Egypt, which it made it official on recognition of Kosova.

You must be blunt , and you must be firm when dealing with a primitive race of people, as is currently the case with the Serbs! The weaker hand dangles the carrots, while the more powerful hand has the finger on the trigger!!! The minute they stop jumping up and down for the carrots, "POW" you let them have it! But it won't come to that, even the Serbs are smart enough to know when to call it quits!!!!

Ouch!!! How are the 3 stooges going to explain this to the angry crowds on Vidovdan.

History repeats itself, as the Fourth Reich is showing full support to their loyal historical lapdogs. I'm glad it is very clear that Serbia will never join the EU, because they are better off outside of it controlling their own destiny. Everybody realizes that, even the three stpooges in Belgrade do, but they prefer to lie to their people and play their games. This is not just Germany's position, it is a general understanding in all of Europe, even in most of the 5 EU countries, which so far have not recognized Kosovo. Serbia will never be able to join the EU if it keeps up his current stance on Kosovo.

So why go on playing these dumb games. They lead nowhere, only cost money and other resources. If Serbia wants to join, it simply has to finally look reality into its eyes, and things could go very smoothly and faster.
The argument about Serbia's history and 1389 is so ridicules anyway. No other country in the world bases its history or understanding as a country on something, which is first of all disputed among historians, and lies over 600 years ago in the dark early middle ages. Fairytales at the best .....

I've worked with a Serb from Kosova who claimed he was Croatian. This was in the early 2000's. he was a good person. Only opened up and told us the truth once we got to know each other. I have not personally seen this in the US. Maybe they are just afraid of revealing being Albanian around Serbs as it is apparent that Serbs carried their hatred with them and years of torment and violent abuse are hard to overcome.
Outside of Serb neighborhoods it would never be an issue as I would guess 95% of Americans really could care less if someone is Serb or Albanian.

About a year ago I opened an account on 23andme.com (genetic sequencing company) and sent some saliva to find out about my ancestry. I know I'm Albanian, but i was curious to find out more.

It turns out if you take a random Serb and a random Albanian there is not enough difference to make them separate populations.

I was puzzled. Indeed I had relatives all over the balkans, and found out this was the norm (23andme finds distant relatives from their samples). Balkan nationalism is a product of the past 100 years. Over all the population (of the balkans) is homogenous.

That said you all can continue to fight each other or peacefully unite with the rest of Europe. If those few people that are the ancestors of all of the Balkans (and Europe in general) knew you would make such a mess, they might have decided to not have any kids at all! EU is not a perfect place, but it is a peace project for a continent that has seen more war than any other place on earth.
