Poor Serbia, they finally got what they have been begging for, in January they will be fitted with a ring in their nose. Congratulations!

I don't think a poster has ever been able to sum up the Serbian philosophy better! Congratulations.

Border guards and customs agents are still having to be flown in over road blocks, the meetings are real and everyday Serbia announces no agreement, ..so you were saying?

Albanian comments giving advice to the EU are truely bizzare. How can they recommend things that they don't even know how to do themselves? It's like Turkey advising the EU on freedom of speech.

It seems that the EU has the same thoughts I do, as they have announced giving a green light to start but no definite date. One that can be delayed if Serbia does not fulfill its promises.
Also announced is the recommendation to start initial work with Kosovo.

Without a date on the 28th, we can conclude that Serbia will never be given a date.

Even so, the talks should continue. Progress has been made. But the prospect of membership in the EU should cease to be a consideration in the talks. If the EU wishes to participate in the negotiations between the Serbs and Albanians, they should be welcome, but no more discussions about EU membership.

The EU should at least require 50% of the agreement be implemented before any actual date is given. Everyone knows that if a date is given all talks will come to a standstill.
