In the old Yugoslavia (SFRJ) thousands of soldiers were sent on UN peacekeeping missions around the world. The military would receive lots of money for each soldier but would pay them little. It was a nice little earner. I guess things have changed very little.
The Serbian army should be on Serbian territory protecting their own country from enemies next door, not in some country that has nothing to do with Serbian affairs. Do we ever see any US UN peacekeepers?
