The U.S., meanwhile, called on the all countries "in the Western hemisphere" to not let Snowden into their territory, and declared his passport invalid.

The US cannot possibly see they've become the laughing stock of the world. They still think they've got the right to dictate to sovereign nations to deliver Snowden on a silver platter. The whole world knows that if Snowden is extradited back to US he will end up in Guatanamo chained and dressed in an orange suit.Long live Snowden.

I wish Ed Snowden 'bon voyage' and happy landings wherever that may be. Let us hope that there are still some places left in the world where American bullying (and where that fail, bombs) cannot reach.

Isn't it ironic that a person from the 'free west' has to seek asylum in/via countries like Russia, Cuba or Ecuador which are not so well known for keeping up human rights?

The USA, not much different to Russia:

In one country, political opponents are arrested with forged accusations, in the name of 'fight against corruption'.

In the other, people who dare to reveal the shady, dubious or maybe even illegal operations of the government and secret agencies against the whole population should be extradited for treason, all in the name of 'fight against terrorism'

The big brother is the public sector parasite, it could be your neighbour, family, "friend".

But every time you are associate with the public sector, you are the one who is pushing more big brother.

The only solution to stop this, is to ostracise the public parasites whenever possible, after all they are the slave masters soldiers.

Snowdon, a Hero or villain. The answer depends on whose side your on but one thing is for sure we need more transparency and less surveillance. These days you can't fart without 'them' knowing about it. Big brother is here and we need to stop him from getting bigger.
