Yeah maybe in the heads of the brainwashed commis who became genetically, linguistically and culturally ancient Macedonians over night, as for the battle of kumanovo, it was basically a land grab exercise, lands where Serb language and culture would not have exceeded %5... Actually you are very wrong there. Montenegrins are Serbs, Romania has helped us quite as much as they could, Greece is very much on our side as are many others. Don't count what the corrupt governments do but count what people actually think.

Your attempt at pointing out historical facts is a very poor one at that.


1) look up the treaty of Stan Stefano
2) it was the Serbs who went back on their word, after all the Bulgarians did all the heaviest fighting as they shared a Common border with the Turk.
3)according to your logic, Serbs were promised lands ohrid and kriva palankA.. WHY ? When there were no Serbs living there.. Please explain on what merits is your comment based on?

In First Balkan War Serbs didn't want conflict with mighty Austria, but were seeking to liberate some of the Serbs still under Turkish rule. Initial goal of Serbia and Montenegro was to free Sandjak and Kosovo.
Bulgarians with mightiest army in the Balkans then, were closest to Turks, however and needed help of others, especially with Edirne fortress, fortified by German military engineers, and considered impenetrable. Especially here they needed Serbian heavy artillery.
However, Greeks and Serbs thought that they should all attack together and achieve whatever they can. They had no appetite for more casualties then they had to have to achieve their own goals. Why should Serbs die so that Bulgarians can have Adrianopol? Bulgars should free what they can, and leave rest to Turks...
But, if you look closely, you will find Serbian soldiers in several battles in Bulgaria, including Adrianople.

Here you find more then 100,000 Bulgarian soldiers, but also nearly 50,000 Serbians. Why is that?
Because Bulgarians made territorial agreements with both Greeks and Serbs in order to get them to commit troops to fight in Bulgaria.
In Serbian case agreed borderline was to be Kriva Palanka - Ohrid. Serbs also wanted northern Albanian port of Skhodre to become part of Serbia, and Bulgarians agreed to support their claim.

Soon after First BW, Bulgarians demanded all territories populated by Bulgarians to be theirs.

I agree with Peggy. Serbia has too many options and is too influential to need to benefit from good relations with its neighbours, such as Macedonia and Montenegro. Or Croatia for that matter. Serbia's economy is booming so does not really gain any benefit from improving relations. Nikolic, you're a traitor for speaking to any other leaders and promoting your country. Who do you think you are? Presidents do that sort of thing. Serbia needs a leader. Someone who will tell every other country to keep out of our way.
