Wrong again Daniel, the average monthly salary in Kosova is 300 EUROs, so who on Earth bothers with the hassle of going to Serbia for 50 more? In sj's imagination, we all do, the only problem is that it's sj's imagination and not real life. As for Slovenia, excuse me, we were discussing the assertion that Serbia is better of economically

Daniel

pre 10 godina

oj sj, no point in repeating ourselves. you have been telling us now for a while that Serbia is being asked that Albanians are to be allowed to seek employment there (for a start, who on earth goes to Serbia to look for work, where the average wage is 350 EURO's ?),

Well, most probably an Albanian from Kosovo where the average pay is below 150 euros a month and the unemployment rate is above 50%. Why dont you mention the numbers of Kosovo export and compare those to Slovenia?Oh wait..I bet I know why :)

"There are dozens of Albanians sent back to Kosovo each week who look for work in Serbia."

link please, evidence, there's no pint in you writing nonsense. never have i found one article that claims this.

Slovenia: 8.4% unemployment
Serbia: 26%

Slovenia: exports: $28.77 billion
Serbia: exports: $11.45 billion

Slovenia should look after Kosova, it can afford it more than Serbia

Kosovo paved with gold?? You guys have been repeating it over and over again, that’s who.
Now tell me how Kosovo is going to survive. Nothing too elaborate just outline how this will be done. Do you think the EU will open its gates and allow the Albanians to look for work in the EU? You’re in for a big surprise. Brussels has already mentioned at these talks of allowing Albanians to look for work in Serbia – these a long term plans.
“absorbing more territory with a hostile population..”
Its funny Albanians are hostile towards Serbia absorbing..... There is nothing to absorb; Kosovo belongs to Serbia. There is not a cave painting that connects Kosovo to Albanians. Even travel books on Kosovo talk about Serbian monasteries and churches as places of beauty and interest. They mention a couple mosques and a couple of other buildings built by the Ottomans, but NOTHING about Albanians building anything – these are books written by the west.
There are dozens of Albanians sent back to Kosovo each week who look for work in Serbia. Now here we have a hostile population but they don’t mind working for Serbs. They even try and pass themselves off as Serbians. You’re strange lot.
On Slovenia, Yeah they are better off. LOL LOL. When was the last time you watched Slovenian news????? Slovenia is BROKE and wages, pensions all have to be reduced to less than what they pay in Serbia mate.

As I said Albanians have a very poor understanding of the English language and that is despite some of them being born in an English speaking country. However, let me repeat it for you. A liaison officer is a contact point nothing more and nothing less. An Ambassador is something completely different; here we have a person representing a recognised country that carries with him/her full diplomatic entitlements and privileges.
For the 1000th time let me repeat myself on the issue of Serbian economy. It not good at all; Serbia is in an economic quagmire that will take a long time to get out; its wages are very low and unemployment is up to if not over 30%. Now I hope the Albanians take note of my comment and stop asking the same stupid question over and over again.
Having said all this Serbia is the only former Yugo republic that has the potential to succeed. It can achieve a high standard of living as it has all resources to do just that.
Now if you look at Serbia in isolation it does look very bad but considering the entire globe is in an economic recession and some in a depression Serbia is not going too bad. We need the surrounding EU economies to recover to see just where Serbia sits.
I’m still waiting for a rational explanation about Slovenia????

(buRh+O, 17 June 2013 18:51)

Well it tells me that since Peci is already under the delusion that he's serving as some sort of "ambassador", it's best if reporters don't scare him with reality by asking how can someone serve as ambassador if no diplomatic relations have been established. We should thank whoever didn't allow reporters to ask him any questions since he'd be made a fool of.

This is called living in a dream – Kosovo would collapse if the EU was not providing it with money.

On the issue of bankruptcy, the entire EU is either technically bankrupt or on the edge with only couple of exceptions so whets your point about Serbia. In sj's imagination, we all do, the only problem is that it's sj's imagination and not real life. As for Slovenia, excuse me, we were discussing the assertion that Serbia is better of economically

Yes, exactly the same way Kosovo is represented as a state in the UN assembly :)

The EULEX mission expires on 1st July 2014, so who will he be communicating with in 12 months time? I somehow doubt that the Kosovo Assembly will agree once again agree to extend EULEX's mandate.

And the last thing anyone would want is to make an Albanian look like a fool.

I’ve now the error of my ways and now see that Kosovo has all the resources to become a self-sustaining independent country. It has sufficient water resources, minerals, energy etc. I now see that Kosovo is beginning to stand on its own two feet and will in a short time surpass Serbia and the rest of Europe. This is called living in a dream – Kosovo would collapse if the EU was not providing it with money.

On the issue of bankruptcy, the entire EU is either technically bankrupt or on the edge with only couple of exceptions so whets your point about Serbia. If you have been on Mars let me tell you that the world is going through another GFC. We now have China’s economy slowing down and if you think life in Kosovo is hard now wait till this financial crises hits.

Please let us all know. I know I’m in need of a good laugh. Now do tell us all what happened to Slovenia??? What went wrong in paradise???

As for Slovenia, however bad it is, it's miles ahead of Serbia, in fact it's so far ahead, they can't even see you on their rear view mirrors

Nikolle

"There are dozens of Albanians sent back to Kosovo each week who look for work in Serbia."

link please, evidence, there's no pint in you writing nonsense. never have i found one article that claims this.

Slovenia: 8.4% unemployment
Serbia: 26%
