You cannot pick up a Serbian newspaper, or go to an online new source, and not read about some claim of corruption or devious business transactions in Serbia, on a daily basis. I do not think there is one state-owned company in Serbia that was not robbed and raped by politicians and businessmen. Today I even read that there are tons of grain missing from silos in state reserves. I do not think one country in the world matches the corruption and crime that has gone on in Serbia, starting back in the days of Milosevic. How Serbia will clean up, only God knows. The problem is, IMHO, many of the criminals are still on the political scene.
