Everyone pays their rent in Euros. Any purchase of anything big is done in euros.
But, the price of eggs aren't going up, so no inflation.

No inflation was recorded in Serbia in May and the inter-annual price increase totaled 9.9%, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia said on Wednesday.

If you were that smart to take a loan in Euro currency with a much lower interest rate than a loan in Serbian Dinars with a higher interest rate, you should better have considered currency fluctuation.

Fine, no inflation for one month, but what happened to the dinar vs. euro, how most major ticket items, and loans are dealt in? If you have a loan on real estate, linked to the euro in Serbia, your monthly payments have gone up considerably. Inflation index is just one part of the financial story, but OK, the government is happy to post that.
