I know Serbs have a habit of believing nonsense Daniel; according to Serbia's own statistics, there were 110000 Serbs in Kosova eligabe to vote in last years elections. This you'll notice means only people 18 and over. Don't worry, it wouldn't be the first time you get things wrong.

@Albanian
Isn't the commander of the local police in Preshevo ethnic Albanian?, I remember reading that he was present along with his local officers, some of whom were also surely ethnic Albanian, when the Serbian Gendarme removed the Albanian Terrorist monument in Preshevo some months ago. I'm sure there were also Serbian Muslim and ethnic Albanian officers in the Gendarme. I commend them in the professional manner in which they served their mother country and conducted themselves regarding the removal of an illegal Albanian terrorist monument in their country of Serbia. The matter has been put to rest and nobody was injured. That is the difference between professional police officers in Serbia and rag tag former KLA Albanian terrorist war criminals who wear police badges in Kosovo today.

"800 police for communities totaling 30,000"
(a New Day, 11 June 2013 17:20)

I would be a little bit careful with the numbers. It is usually the first thing to be manipulated. Especially considering who is talking, that is Vulin. Most likely it is less than 30,000 or 40,000. And who knows what the 800 really is. It depends on what Vulin, the Great Resigner, thinks is more convenient, inflate or deflate the number. Maybe it is 300, or maybe it is 2,000. If the locals would accept to be registered with Kosovo ID-s we would know the real number, but that is one more reason for not implementing the agreement isn't it?

WTF?

The kosova deal abolishes all Serb autonomy and makes all Serbs employees of pristina! Presevo Albanians want that level of Belgrade control! Albanian know your agreements and what they say! You dont want this deal for presevo!

Brian, do you even bother to read what's going on or do you just make up crap to comment on? I mean seriously you even contradicted yourself above. First, you make up some idea that Serbs now work for Pristina and autonomy is abolished, then you say Presevo Albanians will want the same arrangement for Belgrade and Serbia better watch out. Serbia has to say it wont recognize kosova over and over because the agreements it reaches all point to total recognition like border guards and customs agents and liaison officer ambassadors and meetings with thaci and presidents and all those things that indicate to all in the world that Serbia recognizes kosova independence. Well the numbers do change daily according to who is using them and why. I was only using the last number I remember hearing.
I like the numbers of refugees or Serbs that have left or been chased out of Kosovo. The numbers I hear are 150-200 thousand lived there before and now 150-175 thousand live there now and 200 thousand were expelled. I have to admit that it has been about 30 years since I took a math class but I doubt it has really changed that much.
But are you suggesting that they hire an extra 650-700 police officers to cover people who have not lived in Kosovo for more than a decade?

(Nick, 11 June 2013 21:22) History has proven you wrong over and over.
Serbia agrees to one thing in Brussels comes home and reinterprets it totally different and then blames Albanians for not honoring it. Everytime the EU has had to step in and provide what the true agreements are Serbia has been proven wrong.

800 police for communities totaling 30,000 talk about your police state. By international ratios 100 to 150 would be more appropriate ratio, probably a little heavy.
(a New Day, 11 June 2013 17:20)

Indeed. Thought it is more like 40.000 Serbs living in the northern region, and maybe, for the ration, the about 200.000 Serbian refugees who left Kosovo or were expelled by Albanians are counted, too?

He is trying to whitewash his hands. The known fact is, there is no greater opponent of the agreements than hw minself, and he even publicly said so. Another fact is that Belgrade is stalling the implementation of any of the so far reached agreements. The arguments it uses, for instance when it comes to implent the agreement on free movenment, are wrong, and the EU stated that on more than one occation. Serbs in the north are citizens of Kosovo, and therefore will have to take Kosovo ID cards, license plates, etc. Belgrade even signed that once more with Brussels agreement, and still argues, like just yesterday again, that those people are serb citizens, and still don't need to take Kosovo id's.
Serbia will never get, and should never get a date for the EU talks if it acts like that. Serbia in its current political state can and will not fit into the value system of the EU.

Albanian

So Albanians should have Albanian police departments in Presheva Valley, everything Serbs want in the north Albanians should get it in Presheva. Why should there be double standards for Serbs? Yet you blaim Belgrade, and not a word of critics of Brussels which imposed enslaving agreement on the small country which faces complete isolation and has little room for manoeuvring.

enslaving

How many thousands of times have your govt officials said that Serbia will never recognize an independent Kosovo under any conditions. They did pitch a partition scheme a while back but still said they would not recognize the rest of Kosovo.
So don't play like "we are here open to talk"

Serbian side will respect the Brussel agreement to the last letter. The question is what will the Albanians do. They are the ones not respecting any deals
It almost sounds like you are actually part of the negotiation team, are you?

Serbia has to say it wont recognize kosova over and over because the agreements it reaches all point to total recognition like border guards and customs agents and liaison officer ambassadors and meetings with thaci and presidents and all those things that indicate to all in the world that Serbia recognizes kosova independence. Like saying Kosova can be in the EU which is for independent countries.

Last time I checked...Serbia hasn't implemented anything either

I know Serbs have a habit of believing nonsense Daniel; according to Serbia's own statistics, there were 110000 Serbs in Kosova eligabe to vote in last years elections. This you'll notice means only people 18 and over. Don't worry, it wouldn't be the first time you get things wrong.

"800 police for communities totaling 30,000"

I would be a little bit careful with the numbers. It is usually the first thing to be manipulated. Especially considering who is talking, that is Vulin. Most likely it is less than 30,000 or 40,000. And who knows what the 800 really is. It depends on what Vulin, the Great Resigner, thinks is more convenient, inflate or deflate the number. Maybe it is 300, or maybe it is 2,000. If the locals would accept to be registered with Kosovo ID-s we would know the real number, but that is one more reason for not implementing the agreement isn't it?

Oh here comes vulin talking crap as usual...leadership of the exhausted defeated and empowered serbia still thinks is firing all the shots & as if they are still major power...well wake up you fools because time of resolving disputes through violence is over you had your chance and you blew up all opportunities. If you want to live in peace you should leave others in peace there is no other way the alternative is more desolution and misery thats why most of your neighbours despise you for self-destructive policies, which always come back to hunt down their initiators.
