UN General Assembly adopts resolution on Syria

On the one hand you have government troops shelling innocent civilians and rebels, on the other hand rebels are using chemical weapons and eating hearts of the regime soldiers, all in all I think the wisest thing is to step away from the conflict, let them settle the dispute by themselves. Attention of Western powers should be shifted to Iran who is on its way to develop an atom bomb. If such weapon falls into hands of religious fundamentalist the world will be on the brink of Third World War.

Iran wants the killing in Syria to continue - it acts as a message to Iranians that Armadinnejacket is also a thug who will suppress his own people using violence to keep power.

The best way to keep Iran uncomfortable about is to make it uncertain and nervous of the West's possiblities regarding intervention. The West should not continue to collude with the Russians to keep Assad's dictatorship in place.

The people of Syria would get rid of Assad if they were allowed a free vote. He should not be holding on to power by killing Syrians.
