The UN should outlaw Assad so he can be legally shot on sight - and/or have the power to enforce a free vote of the people of Syria. The people do want change, and do not want to be ruled by a criminal thug.

The thug Assad is a power pig - he is prepared to kill thousands so that he and his cronies can keep power for the long term. He does not deserve to be negotiated with or to be given the chance to pervert a 'peace' process for his own ends.
