PM: Google, Apple to come to Serbia by year’s end

That's good news! Btw apple has brand stores in only 14 countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, China, Japan, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Sweden and the Netherlands), Google has 23 stores in Europe alone. Such investments are indeed significant, hope they help employ many of Serbia's skilled youth..

What we are not being told is how these companies are ordering Dacic to crack down on Serbian companies and people using / selling pirated hardware and software.

In return Dacic gets to make public statements about how these companies will come to Serbia - regardless of whether they are true or not.

Question: what's this going to do?

I'm all for this , unfortunately,so far there has been no hope ,what's keeping the talent here???

When will you grow up and stop this sort of "conspiracy" illusion, that someone is plotting against the Serbs 24/7 like the Serbs are unbalancing the globe! Maybe you should stop watching so much James Bond movies! I mean say something that makes sense at least!

It would be better if they opened some production in Serbia, but even this is not so bad. We are not in the position to be picky

Just another tentacle of the new world order reaching into Serbia, this is not good news just like it is bad news that these companies can carry out their data retention practices and privacy breaches which they have been doing on a global schale for years now. Not to mention the ridiculous prizes people pay and the social pressure amongst for example teenagers to waste their cash which they need for actual real things on overprized phones and subscriptions.

Wow, Apple is opening some shops in Serbia - really newsworthy, and it surely will turn Serbia into an IT center in Europe. And everyone who will buy an Apple I-phone becomes an expert of IT technology :)

So iphones and ipads will be legally sold in Serbia ?! THAT'S GREAT NEWS!

Well... it's almost the end of year and we are not hearing any news about opening of Apple and Google stores?
