Olli,
I base my comments on facts and not naivity. Serbs have a horrible time interpreting things most recently.
Take 1244, which strips all power over Kosovo from Serbia, Serbs hated it until someone says the part where member states are committed to the territorial integrity of the FRY, meant that Kosovo would always be Serbian even though that is a common phrase used in many UNSC resolutions. And then 1244 details how the future status of Kosovo is to be determined in accordance with the Rambouillet accords.
The north is waving the 1244 banner which so ironic in the fact that it has always had north Kosovo as a part of Kosovo and subject to the laws first of UNMIK and then the laws made in Pristina, which they have always defied. They refused to participate in UNMIK elections and to use UNMIK courts until Pristina was given control then they were suddenly "we only recognize UNMIK"
Then the regional representation agreement which Serbia went wild with until the EU had to say hey you are wrong and thus most countries outside of Serbia just ignored.
While I am not a gambler that visits Vegas, I would say that the odds that it is Serbia who is misinterpreting the agreement versus Pristina, are a sure shot.

GOK is interpreting the Agreement as it was written, it is you who is trying to sabotage the implementation by trying to add new topics to the agenda.

These meetings are how to implement what has been agreed, not to ADD new items.

FYI: Implementation means to Apply

Dear Kosova-USA,

Even if "Ashton always addressed both PM's equally, and as [of] two different countries" you can be sure that Serbia's negotiators didn't. It was clear from the very start that Serbia hasn't recognized Kosovo an independent country. This for sure isn't any news here? So this matter isn't a question of an interpretation, and actually not an issue at all.

Dear a New Day,

You like to act out a bit naive person, eh? The way things are proceeding now is the most common way inside the EU, too. First member countries sign agreements and then they start start debating about ways of implementation, bringing different views on the table. And not only different ideas about implementation but also differing interpretations about what actually was agreed of.

And what, you want to put blame on Serbia only, for this kind of proceedings? And Kosovo, clean of it all? Come on!

I think it's best that guys on both sides pack they toothbrushes and pajamas and get back to Brussels to have talks, together with Ashton and teams of legal experts (eagles and beagles). In case the EU mediators thought it's all done now, they were the biggest fools around to think one A4 sheet of paper settled it all.

Does this surprise anyone? Serbia from day one has gone to Brussels and made agreements and then come home and say they agreed to something totally different.
Remember the * fiasco. It was agreed to that Kosovo would be depicted as Kosovo* on any documents signed and a footnote would be attached to the bottom.
All placards were to have Kosovo* on it and no state symbols were to be displayed. But then Serbia tried to insist the placard had the footnote and that the footnote had to be read aloud at the meeting. Finally the EU had to step in and announce that none of that had been agreed to and the agreement was released that showed Serbia was wrong. Also Serbia tried to say that all nations were bound to the agreement, other nations cannot be bound to anything they did not participate in. They were at free option to hold meetings anyway they wanted.
I think the same will be shown here to. Serbia wants to save face with its own people nothing more, nothing less.

“Representatives of the interim self-government in Priština

The above mentioned is the way Serbia interprets things! Yet, Ashton always addressed both PM's equally, and as two different countries.I love to see Serbian version of 1244, and I can only imagen the way it was translated from the source(English)!
