Pavićević: Liaison officer exchange by end of June

Liaison officers of Belgrade and Priština, Dejan Pavićević and Lulzim Peci met at the premises of the EU Delegation to Serbia in Belgrade on Thursday.

Every single thing these people are supposed to do indicates that they are 100% ambassadors and diplomats! There is no difference between there duties and a ambassador or diplomat! It goes perfectly with Serbia being so stridently in support of kosova independence now.

I agree that realistically, Serbia will not get into EU unless Kosovo* gets into the UN. But it may be many years before the EU will seriously consider admitting Serbia. In the meantime Kosovo* has to wait in terms of UN etc. Serbia might be able to negotiate something better with Kosovo* to make that waiting time shorter. Just possibly. On the basis of the latest deal, I doubt it, but it's possible.

Serbia will not get into EU if Kosova doesn't get into UN.
No matter how you would like to play the game, Serbia will never enter the gates of EU by sugar-coating the relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
