Had the US known North Korea didn't possess the real thing Kim would've met the same fate as Saddam and Gaddafi.North Korea knows that nuclear weapons are all about their survival and they won't survive without them.The visit to China by Kerry was in effect the "calming down" factor in this nuclear posturing.The alternative would've been horrendous. Any war with North Korea would perhaps have wiped out most South Korea's economy, massively drag down Japan and thousands of casualties on both sides.I still think that North Korea emerged the winner in this war spatter as they refused to be bullied and back down.

Your summation is right on the mark. It’s common knowledge in Asia that the North would have gone to war without hesitation and they were in fact pushing forward which caused great concern with the US. The Americans are in no shape to go to a real war so they ran to China.
One the other hand China will never allow the North to fall as it does not want a unified Korea under a “democratic banner” on its borders.

Yeah it was little Kim that ran to China to kiss the hopefully unwashed Chinese backsides to calm things down because the North Koreans were heading towards the real thing. The US massacres in Middle East are relevant to North Korea because ,as per G. W. Bush,constituted a part of the "axis of evil" Iran,Syria,North Korea.The major difference is those countries invaded by the US didn't possess either biological or nuclear weapons whereas North Korea does and she is prepared to use them when attacked.

Your summation is right on the mark. It’s common knowledge in Asia that the North would have gone to war without hesitation and they were in fact pushing forward which caused great concern with the US. The Americans are in no shape to go to a real war so they ran to China.

The US massacres in Middle East are relevant to North Korea because ,as per G. W. Bush,constituted a part of the "axis of evil" Iran,Syria,North Korea.The major difference is those countries invaded by the US didn't possess either biological or nuclear weapons whereas North Korea does and she is prepared to use them when attacked.

I had my friend's father was serving in Albanian Embassy in North Korea during Hoxha's time and although he couldn't speak openly, the fact that radios and TV were set to see only one station, the communist one, speaks for itself.
