Serbs with have to wake up to the new reality.

You are right. In that reality Kosovo will be what it is-part of Serbia, and no Albanian will claim diferent.

Not sure there is much to pick from... Do you reject the agreement or not; that's it. Not sure what wording the Serbs in North Kosovo wanted!
(icj1, 6 May 2013 01:31)

No there really isn't much to pick, they just didn't trust the Serbian government, do you blame them? Besides, it wasn't them who said no to a referendum it was Vucic and Dacic who offered it, then they said it wouldn't happen. Who in the world believes that it was the Serbs in Kosovo that blocked the Government from holding a referendum? There is no referendum because Nikolic, Dacic and Vucic will not gamble their employment on it.

So it's the 'will of people', and it is up to them to decide about the direction the country is moving. Who else? That's how representative democracy works, in case you don't know. You cannot govern a country with a referendum needed for everything.
(Comm. Parrisson, 5 May 2013 21:13)
===========================

It is NOT the will of the people. If these sellouts went to elction with this deal they would have NEVER been elected. Instead they went to election telling us quite the opposite.
This means that they did not have a mandate to implement anything of this sort. This means that they must allow a referendum on something as big as this especially when there is no mandate.
If you can't see that than you are blind.

Of course they want a referendum, show me where they said they didn't? They will just not accepted a manipulated referendum. When this government has lied like it has, who can ever trust them again? You know, fool me once....

Honesty is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people. Now the DS and SNS have revealed themselves as dishonest. It seems only the DSS has retained their respectability. That is who I have voted for.

Comm Parison: I think you are being a little disingenuous to argue that this agreement is the will of the people on the basis that an elected government initialled it. It would only be the will of the people had this coalition (which was not formed before the elections)stated clearly in advance of those polls that they would be agreeing to what is in the accord with Kosovo. This is called a mandate and when such a mandate does not exist for the significant constitutional change that is envisaged in this agreement, at least as far as the position of the Kosovo Serbs is concerned, it is usual practice to seek one through a referendum. To argue otherwise would in effect be to say that a government can do whatever it likes once it has been elected, irrespective of the platform on which it ran its election campaign.

They only date they got from signing the agreement was a deadline by which they were supposed to implement the agreement. And remember, the promised date isn't even for membership in the EU. When the kla murdered our people, they would come right up and slit their throats and sell their organs.
