In Turkey, IFJ affiliate, the Turkish Union of Journalists, estimates that at least 66 journalists are currently in prison, awaiting trial on charges of allegedly isolating the Turkish penal code or anti-terror laws.

Turkey has a brutal repressive Islamist regime just like Saudi Arabia, this should be no surprise to anyone, can we honestly expect any more from them?It seems that Erdogan cannot take any form of criticism at all.

we win again, eh?

Turkey 66, and the rest of the losers combined 72. Seven more brave journalists and maybe we would've heard about Turkey's high achievements here on CNN and FOX. As the score stands now, I won't be holding my breath to hear any honest reporting that doesn't reflect positively on Turkey's regime, or Kosovo's human organ harvesting verdicts for that matter. However, if Kosova* got recognized by poodles with sunglasses, or some country that few ever heard of, every network would air it for sure.
