"Vučić is welcome - but Serbs won't change their position"

Aleksandar Vučić is welcome to the north of Kosovo, but there is no chance the view of the Serbs on the Brussels deal will become closer to the government's.

No doubt about that... Since they have remained in 1389, there is no hope they are going to move forward now :)

No Belgrade will not dare cut off funding.

There were many things we said that would not dare do, but the current Serbian government did them all (the prior one did not dare).

But, this time, I agree with you. No government in Serbia or anywhere else would ever dare taking any economic or financial decision without first consulting the CE of B92 forums sj.

There is no international funding. All funds now come from Brussels to Pristina and even those funds have been cut back as the EU is struggling with this economic monster that is threatening to engulf it.
I’m still mystified about Slovenia. For almost a century that little place has had a superior living standard first under the Kingdom of Yugoslavia then under Tito up until recently, then it took a turn for the worse where today its on the same level as Spain. What went wrong considering they are in the EU? Surely Brussels would have paved the streets with bricks of 24 carat gold?
No it all about Dacic, Vucic and Nikolic working hard for the bonus from Brussels and something tells me that it’s about to fall over.

To borrow a phrase from our illustrious sj, "money talks" If Serbia discontinues all funding as is suppose to, there will be no international funds available to fund a rebellous cause, and the only money coming through Pristina will be through legitimate channels, you will see those doors opening.
If Serbia continues funding the illegal institutions then the agreement and any promise of a start date will become null and void.
