Openly supporting transferring a countries central state powers to another capital is as extremist as you can get. They are just as extreme as the BNP but in different ways. Much like in Serbia Canak and the "Vojvodinists" are just as extreme as Nacionalni Stroj is but again in different ways. (Ari Gold, 30. april 2013 13:22) Tons of politic parties all over the EU are pro-EU and support deeper ties in the Union, are they extremist too? The Lib Dems would only support giving more power to the EU if accepted by a popular referendum. Are the Serbs in Bosnia who want the RS to be apart of Serbia 'extremist'? This is your logic, not mine.

You've just proven why no-one should take your comments seriously, you referred to the Liberal Democrats as "extremist". That says it all!

And the funny thing is that you actually believe the BS you come out with!

It is not even that they're exspensive. The big supermarket chain Morrisons here in the UK was selling energy saving lightbulbs at 15p each. I really do not see what the issue is.

The issue is that some unelected official should not have the right to dictate to citizens of another country every move they make.
Some guy they have never heard of is micro managing their coutnry. Any gvernment handing over their country like that should be facing treason charges.

The irony here is Ian is disagreeing with Zeman who's a former communist. But all the while he defends the EU which at this point seems to be the new Soviet Union. Zeman is right, the EU commission which nobody in Europe actually ever voted for (largely made up by failed politicians who couldn't get democratically elected in their own countries) are trying to eradicate nation-state in order to run a single and centrally planned state from Brussels.

But Brits as well as many Europeans are starting to wake up. Ian has joined the fringe of British society over the past year with his fanatic EUphoria. He probably belongs to the extremist Lib Dem party in the UK who openly support transferring more of their freedoms from London to Brussels.

'Commenting on his position on the ethnic (Sudeten) Germans, first voiced in 2002, the Czech president said that their expulsion from his country after the Second World War was more lenient than the death penalty they would have faced for committing the crime of treason.'

Very well said, and the same goes for the Vojvodina Germans who were expelled. I'd love to see our leaders say the same thing, but I doubt that retarded quislings like Daciq will ever say anything worthy.

Yes, of course all of these 100.000s of Germans expelled from their homes committed the 'crime of treason'. Just like all the 100.000s of Kosovo Albanians who were expelled under Milosevic for being terrorists :)

Sorry, Mr. Zeman, with today's standards, the expulsion would have been considered a war crime, your competitor Schwarzenberg got it right.

"The dear EU does not decide what kind of light bulbs I use in my house," Zeman told Vienna's Profil weekly in reference to EU's directive to phase out the use of incandescent light bulbs, and added:

"I put an energy saving light bulb and my house was like a morgue."

----------------

I remember in the 1990s in my house we had energy saving light bulbs and they'd be very dim at first and take about 10 minutes to get going. However technology has moved on since then and I can no longer tell the differnce in light quality between normal light bulbs and energy saving light bulbs.

I think Zeman needs to buy better light bulbs.
