Does this sound like "wide-ranging autonomy"?

Just for your info Peggy, Rada Trajković lives in Gračanica, in the south of Kosovo, and is the Health Care Director of that Area, so she knows what she is talking about. She is one pf the spokespersons for the Serbs in the southern part of Kosovo and there were numerous articles about her on B92.

So much for your in depth knowlege of the situation in Kosovo.

Forcing serbs to live under savages just proves that Eu is loosing its mind. No only should serbs refuse to live with these talibans but all slavs in the balkans should unite and fights this plague.

Actually this is all on purpose. Take a look at what Pamela Geller has to say. She has a website called Atlasshrugs and there is a method to their madness. They are sacrificing Balkans to Turkey in a bid to appease them because they are not getting membership to EU.
Islamic rule and influence is the price to pay and Serbs are again a sacrifical lamb.

Are you serious? Trajkovic has been a leader of the Serbs in the South since before the war (Milosevic's party, I believe - somebody will correct me if I'm wrong). She's the director of the medical facility in Gracanica, and for years has been a constant critic of the Prishtina government, although she entered the Assembly during the last elections. (It hasn't stopped the criticism.)

Australia is further from the Balkans than I realized.

Serbs, on the other hand, are persecuted by Albanians in the south. They need protection just to go about their normal day to day.

So yes, Albanians live in Serbia in peace. Nobody touches them and if you try to say the opposite you better be prepared to back it up.
Maybe what you want is for Albanians to declare independence where ever they live so as not to be "under someone's boot".
