Dacic & co. agreed to operate under Pristina law. This means that they have recognized Kosovo independence (regardless of what they say).

But I thought what Serbs say is all it matters, regardless of the reality on the ground. Serbs love being told what they like to hear. I think we are all familiar with "Kosovo is Serbia" - just as an example :)

From Marko: @njegos true puppets are the ones unable to solve the nation's problems and run away of responsibility. If vucic and dacic were puppets like you say they would have accepted the first agreement offered, which wasn't the case. It took them 10 long meetings and huge diplomatic activities to finally come out with a fairly good compromise...

You are wrong. This is not a fairly good compromise, as you put it. Dacic & co. agreed to operate under Pristina law. This means that they have recognized Kosovo independence (regardless of what they say). Before long, there won't be any Serbs left in Kosovo which is just what the Pristina gov't., aka the KLA, want. Belgrade has no authority over the area anymore, therefore, any crimes committed there will be under the jurisdiction of Thaci's KLA. As we have seen over the past 14 years, crimes committed against Serbs in Kosovo have gone unpunished and it will be far worse now. So when you get your money from the EU and you are leading a good life, think about the Serbs who were driven from their ancestral homeland based on this agreement from a leadership team who was willing to be bought. And when Serbia is reduced to the size of a postage stamp, make sure you tell your grandchildren that this was all done in the best interest of the Serbian nation. No pride.

The way to have a strong Serbia is now all about recognizing kosova independence and saying EU membership for Kosova which means UN membership. Now Serbia is going to be strong but giving up all claims to kosova and doing what it can to be in the EU.

It took them 10 long meetings and huge diplomatic activities to finally come out with a fairly good compromise in an agreement were both sides lose something, and that is true victory, and when you see the economy flourishing through investments and tourism you will realise who were the true puppets that never did anything to move the nation forward but rather drawn it in a sea of conflicts, not to mention how corrupt they were.

A few short years ago Dacic, Nikolic & Vucic were Milosevic's communist henchmen, posing as Serb nationalists.

They were not the only ones to support Milosevic. Majority of Serbs did the same. Too late for complains.

From Mr. Dacic: The PM said that he did not want Kosovo Serbs to go through what Serbs in Republic of Serb Krajina had gone through when they rejected the Z-4 agreement and the Croatian military Operation Storm followed.

Wake up Mr. Dacic, you signed Kosovo away just as your former boss, Milosevic gave abandoned Krajina. You no longer have a say in what happens in Kosovo. The terrorist Thaci now calls the shots there now, no pun intended.

A few short years ago Dacic, Nikolic & Vucic were Milosevic's communist henchmen, posing as Serb nationalists. Now these guys have done an about face and are puppets of the west. What will they stand for next week. There is no moral fiber in any of these so-called leaders. Shame on all of them.

Bold talking.

Many Serbs don't like it....

I agree that the past should make basics for the future, but if we are constantly looking around at the worst moments of the past that will be the reason for next generation to take the burden on their back and then everything has no meaning. Why our children must be poisoned by hate,if we let that happend then our crime is even worst.Things that have taken their place in the past must stay there because they ended up! No need to stretch them further. Leave yesterday to yesterday, because today has its own problems. We do not have to love each other but we should not hate. It is enough to appreciate each other and build the future on the present.Dont let burden from the past efects on future. We do not have to have a common law and the state, it is enough to have a community of economic interests. Those of us who fight for the future we need to lock ghosts in the past in oreder to prevent future mistakes. So whatever happened to us was just a product of interest by third parties to divide the current two. Are'nt we had enough? Show that there is more of who think right, that there are more of us that easily read other people's intentions and that we dont allow to be devided for the purpose of somebody's self interest.

With this kind of thinking Serbia is making a historical braketrough. Serbia wins battle over past and succeeds in closing ghost in the place where they should stay. Unfortunately we are left with our curse of discord to stay above our heads. Yes, even now we still have some precentage of nation who still thinks that is fine to stay surrounded with wesetern forces and keep looking at east. Maybe I agree with that but that is not acceptable solution right now, I also prefer east more then west, because of religion and similar culture...but there is nothing more...some economical interest maybe but thats it, I dont look at east blindly believing and hoping for some help, but I expect to work with the environment that we are conditioned geographicly and related.
