Let me get this straight. Vulin was a member of Serbia's negotiating team all along. He was there and had knowledge of every detail of the deal.
The deal was agreed by Serbian team on Friday. So he betrayed his brothers from Friday until Wednesday and how he is all of a sudden a hero?
He is not resigning because he is not happy with the agreement, but rather his post is not wanted anymore.Anyway, he was holding a phantom post.

Agree with you. It's funny how many here think he resigned because he's against the agreement. If he was against the agreement how come he didn't resign before the agreement was signed? His job is done, Serbia doesn't need Kosovo Office anymore. Thaci will cover it.

1) The position is going away per the agreement, so you might as well resign and save a little face.
2) It will advance his political ambitions by making it appear that he doesn't agree with the current government.
3) There are some angry Serbian's out there that will have no problem giving him batine if they cross paths with him. He is just saving his own skin by hoping it appears that its not his fault.

I knew the guy was a loser and a failure from the start. You know why? Because he said that Serbia wouldn't give up Kosova! We all see how that turned out.
This was the best way to get rid of the ministry fo Kosovo alltogether. He will not be replaced because there is/was no need for having a ministry for Kosovo. Having a ministry for a foreign country (in this case Kosovo) violates the agreement. This ministry will be silenced quietly, so Vulin's resignation is the first step in that direction. It remains to be seen whether he has a place in representing Serbs in the Kosovo institutions, that is whether he decides to run in the upcoming elections in the northern municipalities and whether he has the backing of the people.
They say politics is Hollywood for ugly people. All I am seeing now is simple theatrics. The scripts were written a long time ago and we are just seeing our politicians (or shall we say actors) going through the motions.
It is a great shame that it has ended up like this. It simply has no legitimacy so when the guard changes, so will the reality.

I'll bet, he also endorsed the Signing of the agreement! Except, after Dacic & Vucic started receiving death threats, this A. Vulin dude, realized that he might actually be the one that gets it behind the ear! He does spend the most time in northern Kosova, amonst the Serbs of Kosova, where he would make for the easiest target! He defiantly has some brains, when it comes to watching out for his own behind! Farewell, Vulin!
If what he says is true, a very noble gesture by a man with pride and honor, and a person that sticks to his convictions. Now, please get out of Serbian politics forever. You should have left at the same time as your mentor, Mirjana Markovic, Mrs. Sloba, and went into exile with her. One more down, and countless to go.
Somebody had to be installed as a buffer that will suffer greater impact or weight, in this case that was Vulin. The tensions will in some way will go with him and that's good, so that was right move. Also, do not be mislead with actions of the Serbs in the north of KiM who disagree with this solution. We must complain to this and that kind of attitude must be shown to albanians,we must play hard and show that we're not satisfied. What would happen if the Serbs on KiM just come to accept the agreement? Well within the albanians would immediately began to build a plan to go further. Therefore, we must react like this and it's the only right thing. Do not fry that they are against the government or Serbia ... just such a position must be held for the greater good. So do not make a mess, treacherous spread gossip and such, be wise and quietly play your micro act ...
