Let it be...

Bosnia has a history of dislike for federal politics, i don't see why Bosnia would want to join the EU which is a federal type system per se..

1)Bosnians did not want to stay within a Federal unit within Yugoslavia
2) The serbs do not want to be a part of a Federal entity of Bosnia

Solution

Partition Bosnia along Ethnic lines externally, once the shackles of the forced marriage are removed, the remaining entities can go about there paths with out blaming each other, be responsible for there own decisions, mistakes or even success..

But in the Balkans, the prime instinct is as we say 'inajet' i'll be happy if my cow died knowing that two of my neighbours died..

I want to see Bosnia in EU. But we must be honest and realistic. The way Bosnia is (not) functioning now it will NOT join EU any time soon.
I hope Bosnia will join EU eventually but an awful lot has to be done!

The EU needs to take a long hard look at itself. Several years ago the politicians in BiH were told that unless they implemented police reform based on three non negotiable principles there would be no SAA. They did not introduce any sort of police reform but still initialled the SAA. Furthermore they have seen countries like Romania and Bulgaria fail to implement the reforms required of them in the areas of the judiciary and anti corruption and yet still be admitted to the EU. The message has been that eventually Brussels will back down and give you what you want. It seems as if that message has changed but that those in power in BiH have either failed to register this or that they simply wish to put their own self interest above everything else; hardly a novelty amongst Balkan politicians (including Greece).

Bosnia is such a failing country, the people of bosnia don't even recognise their country, ethnic serb would tell you they are serbs, ethnic croats would tell you they are croats, serbs carry serbian flags, croats carry croatian flags, you show them the bosnian flag they may spit on it. i mean look at their miserable situation, a country divided into 3 ethnicities, 2 entities, 3 presidents for god sake, how the hell can it work? Corruption is enourmous, unemployment stands at a shoking 30%, the political situation is very unstable, all their polititians are greedy and very corrupt and don't really care about their country, they have no common foreign policy, they do not even have 1 national curriculum in schools BUT 3! there is not a single person there with no desire to migrate. To sum up, the country is failing and has no future with it's current situation and divide between 3 ethnicities! People need to unite, creat a flag which they'd all be proud of, 1 standard language, or the country has to become three and end this misery! Serbs should stop telling their kids that they are serbs and croats the same and muslims as well! TELL THEM THEY ARE ALL BOSNIANS/ HERZEGOVINIANS! I really feel bad for them, i mean look back at sarajevo at the time of yugoslavia, they hosted the 1984 summer olympics, tourism there was a major industry, it was such a prosporous country, look what war has done...
