Agreement is not betrayal. It was the only way to make life for Serbs in Kosovo more bearable. So far they have been called rebels, ext. for whatever they try to achieve and now they will have the legal right to act.
@aaayyy: If you doubt in Albanian word, you do not know them at all. Albanians are the most honest people in the world. A promise/word (Besa) of an Albanian is worth more than any contractual agreement. Thus, if Thaci or any other Albanian promised that no army would come north no way that this would happen. For an Albanian to retract on his word is impossible, it would be the end of the world. Therefore, for me, a word of Hashim Thaci or any other Albanian is more than enough.

Lol well this is what we get on b92 when we ask albo trolls to stop hiding behind western nicknames, they now start to use Serbian nicknames like Srbin, Marko and Danilo.
You know what you can do with your date Dacic!! For those who say this is ideal and that neither side won, get real!! The muslims got a piece of territory that wasn't theirs to begin with, so who won? War is the only answer. Once again, we will get Russian support. The politics are different now from the past. In 1999 there was a drunk who shamed the Russian nation, let alone support the Serbs. Putin is in power now, and things will be different. We just need the right leaders. Mark these words, Serbia will never receive a thing from the EU, let alone a date. In addition, watch out for further demands and blackmail.

I think many still did not grasp the magnitude of the agreement. An army in the North is not necessary when the police and the authorities there comply with the orders from Prishtina. Simple as that. Even if there is an written agreement that KSF will not enter the North, it will be based on the whole package that all officials reply to the Rep. of Kosovo. If they don't they will be replaced by others and if they revolt Kosovo would have all legitimacy to use all means necessary to keep order, including sending the army. Once order would be re-instated, army would be withdrawn and the agreement kicks in again. Everything fine and sound..
Speaking of whether Serbia has recognized Kosovo or not. Reading through the whole international press, even Russian and Chinese, Serbia de facto recognized the independence. Some even say the treaty is a de jure recognition, because it was made with the PM of Kosovo.
BS. The decision is not up to Ashton. She can only give a recommendation to the CoM who will decide due to their own politics and not EU law whether Serbia will be given this meaningless date.
