Calm down, Valentin, no one said that Serbia will be allowed to start ascension talks. If and when it happens, it will take years before Serbia might ever be permitted to join the EU.
Serbia's fixation on the EU, without realizing that the world is large and contains many economic opportunities for development, is irrational. Germany will insist that Serbia adopt Albanian as its official language before we can enter the EU....the sad part is Belgrade would do it.

I have also lived in Ireland, Malta and currently in Denmark. You will not gain anything from joining this failed project. EU member states are increasingly against EU policies and towards decentralization of the European Union. There are poor people everywhere in Europe. I've seen it with my own eyes.
