Article 14 is very important. It states that Serbia and Kosovo should not stay on each other path to EU. By not recognizing Kosovo,Serbia is recreating a second Cyprus situation. EU officials have made it clear that there will not be a second Cyprus in EU. So Serbia in EU only when Kosovo in UN.

Surely you see the difference. Kosova includes North Mitrovica within its borders. Kosova Security Forces can go anywhere in their territory to defend it. It is only the Albanian Kosova Police that ordinarily would not enter the North. Serbian Security forces can't set foot in Kosova if they wish not to be bombed by NATO. As for the Serb thugs in the North, they would be no match for the Kosovo Security Forces. The KS Serbs have little if any military arms and cannot be assisted by Serbia for her fear of being annihilated.

I'd really like to know what drugs the some of the Albanians are taking today to actually think Serbia lost and Kosovo won anything. Serbia gets an autonomous north in everything but name, a ban on what Kosovo calls an army north of the Ibar, an assembly of municipalities with executive and legislative competencies, and only has to promise not to obstruct Kosovo's "European integration", which itself is an amendment from joining international institutions, like Thaci wanted, and knowing Kosovo's problems and EU membership being nowhere in sight, it's little more than a symbolic pledge.

This is a major victory for Serbia, and this only deals with the north. The rest of the details surrounding the 10 municipality Assembly is still to be decided. Now let's just hope Pristina is finally pressured enough to cease any further aggressive moves and actually try to do something positive for the people that the international community HAS allowed them to govern :)

I am not getting those comments thinking that this is bad deal for Serbs. They are now totally protected and Serbia was not forced to recognise Kosovo. I do not see what current Kosovo leadership got from this agreement? On the other hand, Serbia protected their people without declaring that will not try to take Kosovo back.

Daniel you need to read the agreement again. If Pristina says there is an emergency in Kosova they have the right to go into the north. NATO just follows what Kosova says. NATO is pro kosova independence. Pristina will declare an emergency immediately and then send troops into the north. If there is a fire in the north, if a serbs shoots a gun, if a bomb goes off that is an emergency and Albanians troops go in. The level of total Albanian victory in this deal is just astonishing in its scope. They got everything!

NO kosovo troops are allowed unless NATO says so, read the interview with Anders Fogh Rasmussen and you will see by yourself.

Really?! Didn't know that. So, I guess Kosovo should rather accept Serbia's offer of more-than-autonomy-but-less-than-independence in order to get the UN seat :)

The deal is very clear that Kosova troops can go to the north for any reason! Serbs all say kosova now like Dacic and vucic.

Its time Serbian people realise, for their own sake, they are not "special", no one owes them anything, on the contrary they should consider themselves priviliged that Brussels has even asked them to sit as equals in the negotiating table when taking into the sufferance they inflicted not long ago on other neighbouring nations. Hate, terror and masacres made Jews stronger, likewise, two Albanian states have been established and the third one is in the making. Its time you moved on, futile nationalism and superiority complex might feed one's ego but falls short in contributing to economic prosperity and to a better future for the younger generation that diserves more than just being brainwashed with legendary achievements of the Serbs during the Ottoman era.

Surely you see the difference. Kosova includes North Mitrovica within its borders. Kosova Security Forces can go anywhere in their territory to defend it. It is only the Albanian Kosova Police that ordinarily would not enter the North. Serbian Security forces can't set foot in Kosova if they wish not to be bombed by NATO. As for the Serb thugs in the North, they would be no match for the Kosovo Security Forces. The KS Serbs have little if any military arms and cannot be assisted by Serbia for her fear of being annihilated.

It looks like B92 will remove the Kosovo Status from the Menu.

Daniel you need to read the agreement again. If Pristina says there is an emergency in Kosova they have the right to go into the north. NATO just follows what Kosova says. NATO is pro kosova independence. Pristina will declare an emergency immediately and then send troops into the north. If there is a fire in the north, if a serbs shoots a gun, if a bomb goes off that is an emergency and Albanians troops go in. The level of total Albanian victory in this deal is just astonishing in its scope. They got everything!

Could anyone tell me why was K Albanians so angry with Taci? He failed, I suppose.
